I forgot about Mizzu sticking their tails between their legs and running away from that series.
This is why we added UNI to our schedule bc Missouri backed out.....also I remember at one point Barta saying that Iowa has a difficult time getting P5 teams wanted to play a home and away 2 year series with us. Many teams are up for playing us for a neutral or home game, but will not commit to a home and home series....do not know the reason, maybe teams do not like to play at Kinnick....it is well documented that Kinnick is one of the toughest venues to play at due to the fact the fans are right on top of opposing teams

His ratings are literally worse than his view of Iowa football. That's hard to do.
I bet Tuesdays with Torbee gets better ratings.
Anyone that listens to him and gets offended is stupid. He's only saying that so you'll listen. So don't do that
Yep thats the problem. Few teams will schedule a home and home. They will play a nuetral site and home game (Iowa travels) or they will do a 2 for 1 (2 home games to Iowa's 1 home game)
I've been laughing the whole time listening to him. I've been listening to his show off and on since about 2007. He's had good things to say about Iowa before. He's also been skeptical. It's funny to me to hear how riled up he sounds about Iowa fans complaining to him through Twitter and e-mails and calling in to his show. Most of it is off the wall, because even his co-hosts and guys behind the set are just laughing and shaking their heads too.
I can't be mad about what he is saying. For one thing, it's not worth it. He's off on several points, and while he brings up some things worth debating, he is doing what any talk show host would do, which is valuing HIS opinion over others. Of course he's gonna come off as dismissive and stubborn and "hateful". He's going to push his own agenda and while he may respect the opinions of others, he will rarely if ever, let it change his own opinion, or at least the one he is pushing on the air.
Just laugh it off and let it go.
