Obama nails it!

Smart enough to post a grammatically correct sentence. Just because you don't like my opinion doesn't make it wrong. Explain how he helped black communities. Actually, explain anything you think.

The fact you believed he could solve/fix/improve/whatever race relations, for one. If you actually believed that, then you are not to be taken seriously.

Yeah, and Obama was such a fraud who only cared about himself and his ego.

If you don't like getting called out for posting stupid shit, there's a simple solution.

But let me guess, you blame Trump for poor race relations like the rest of the media...

I don't think I am alone in thinking that Obama could help or improve race relations. He didn't- he made black lives worse and that really isn't disputed if you do some research. You keep doing you though and not offering anything of substance besides poorly worded comebacks.

I offer substantive conversation/rebuttals to those whom I take seriously. You are not among them.

And wow. Re-read your last paragraph then come talk to me about grammar and something "poorly worded."

Oh, and ask the libs on this board what I say about Trump's racism. We're done here.

Good argument. Move along

The Obama presidency was a disaster for middle-class wealth in the United States. Between 2007 and 2016, the average wealth of the bottom 99 percent dropped by $4,500. Over the same period, the average wealth of the top 1 percent rose by $4.9 million.

This drop hit the housing wealth of African Americans particularly hard. Outside of home equity, black wealth recovered its 2007 level by 2016. But average black home equity was still $16,700 lower.

Much of this decline, we will argue, can be laid at the feet of President Obama. His housing policies led directly to millions of families losing their homes. What’s more, Obama had the power — money, legislative tools, and legal leverage — to sharply ameliorate the foreclosure crisis.

He chose not to use it.

"If you use 2010 as the baseline, the picture looks significantly more favorable to Obama. From 2010 to 2016, only the lowest 20 percent of the income range saw their wealth decline. For every other percentile, wealth rose, with the increases ranging from 12% to 24%."

Obama took office in 2009. The Great Recession and housing crisis was underway long before then.

Obama did nothing? Uhhm...ever hear of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act? You know, the one every single Republican in the House opposed and only two in the Senate voted for?

Got it

So lets use Trump's numbers pre-covid for the economy? You sound like an Iowa St fan with your logic

Okay. Since I never posited an opinion on Trump's pre-COVID numbers, that seems logical.

Nothing personal, but if you are opposed to being ridiculed for stupidity, there is a simple solution...

Again, you keep posting about stupidity but haven't shown me an example of being wrong. Interesting that you cant be open to other viewpoints. Whatever, you do you bro.

Yes, I did show you an example of being wrong. You responded with drivel about Trump pre-COVID.

The stupidity charge was for the deflection. Laying siege of a vacant castle does not qualify as a cogent argument.

Again, I'm open to many viewpoints, conservative and liberal, and have many quality discussions with people across the spectrum of political ideology. My biggest issue with your posts is you assert opinion as fact and when called on your bullshit you deflect to something completely irrelevant that was never asserted.

A healthy America is a healthy Trump. He cares that America isn’t in the shitter.
You have that backwards. In his mind a healthy Trump is a healthy America...and he would NEVER acknowledge that he's not the healthiest man who ever walked the Earth. There is room for one thing only in his mind and that's HIM. He's f'n perfect - so America must be A-OK. America can't be in the shitter if he's in charge...it's NOT possible.

Look at his tweets if you don't believe me. Ask him how we're doing with the virus. Ask him about the economy.

You can fool some of the people some of the time. But, you can fool KennyG all the time.

I don't think Trump cares about the country. He may want the country to do good because it would be good for him, but I don't think he cares about the country.

Trump cares about ratings more than he does people.

Umm...again...health care for millions of economically disadvantaged people. Anything further wouldn't get past Moscow Mitch once the GOP took the Senate with their truckload of lies. They famously declared they would do whatever it took to make Obama a one-term president after that.

They also promised to “ repeal and replace” ObamaCare once in control.....again, another lie / failure from Moscow Mitch. The Congressional GOP has no long range plans for America other that that tomorrow, the sun will rise in the east.

This is Obama, all but calling anyone who disagrees with him the enemy of the people and, yes, treasonous because those not with him and Joe Biden oppose American democracy.

I'm not sure who Curtis Houck is, but that is a lame retort that is used by everyone that can't form an intelligent response. I'm sure his 1,100 followers will eat it up.

By the way, Trump practically invented the term "enemy of the people" and has never, ever shown any respect for someone that disagrees with him.

Oh, STFU. When Trump thought he was going to lose in 2016 he bitched and whined about the election being "rigged" and "so unfair." Now that it looks like he will probably lose to Biden he's saying the same shit.

The Democrats at least have grievances somewhat grounded in reality. Regardless, if you're a Trump chump, you have no leg to stand on. You people are the dumbest and most oblivious people on the planet.

I endorse this message.:D

Well, there's the fact that Obama pulled the US out of a deep recession that he inherited and Trump put us into one after inheriting a robust economy.
Clinton's repeal of Glass-Steagall was a contributing factor to what Obama inherited. GWB certainly did not help. Foreclosing on 10 million homes with Geithner is his legacy. The FedRes printed ginormous sums of dough ray me. The middle class will forever be paying for that one while corporate America was the recipient of the newly created money supply. Absolutely criminal.

Wrong. Do some research and you will see that a bi-partisan group of financial advisors helped Obama steer the economy away from a depression and out of a recession. The methods they used were so good even Trump's administration is doing many of them to fight this recession.

I'm sure I don't agree with you on much but I've always said if you wanna hate Clinton fine at least know what to hate him for. A blow job? whatever. NAFTA? negotiated by Bush the smarter and tried to fast track through before leaving office and was inevidable as there was too much support on both sides of the aisle. revoking glass-steagall really "f"d things up.
