Make it free for students.
Hello pot, this is kettle.Agreed.
And just so you know, Tylerl_28, the troll, quoted your post from this thread, cut it, pasted it in the the duplicate thread and then replied, just to bump that duplicate thread. You can't make this sheet up. He has to keep that duplicate thread at the top. @Pinehawk
I have seen that tactic before…. Where have I seen it before….. maybe I can ask the mods if this has been an issue before…..I see that Tylerl_28, the troll, is still bumping the duplicate thread, just to keep it on top of the forum. What a clown.
Don’t you have some Angel Reece press conferences to listen to?For the 3rd time, Tylerl_28, the troll, has quoted a post from this thread, cut it and then pasted it in the duplicate thread, just to bump that duplicate thread.
In Tyler's own, incredibly hypocritical words: "No way a grown man (assuming Tyler is a man) w/ self respect would act like this."
Speaking of a supposed grown man with an ounce of self respect: At least Tyler has stopped making up lies about me concerning Ava Jones, but I am sure he will try again, hoping someone will believe him. Tyler is pretty desperate for attention and likes. It's really pathetic.
Free isn't the answer. You've got to want to go to the games.Make it free for students.
wbbal has a different crowd than men. No seat donation required--they need to get out of the seat donation requirement for mbb because the fball money counts towards the seat, then open up the seats to new people that want ot be there.
Now you have a lot of seats sold because they just have to buy the tix---donation was already given for fball seats--and they are not able to give these away to people that will show up--like the wbb team does--or even when they go NIT.
Plus Fran needs to get his butt out and help make it happen wiht the students-Alford was able to do this, no reason Fran can't.
Do some creative things with students--ALford had them come in for friday afternoon bball class, bough tthem pizza etc..and told them how much they needed them there and loud.
They had student leaders who would help.
Have the team stay on the floor after the game and get in front of students and band and sing alma mater wiht cheer squad---I have seen other schools do this.

when ever they have let the students in for free they have showed up--hence it is a solution--I still go back to being more involved with them and having student leaders--worked well for Alford---Then what's the solution?

Both "keeping the big donors happy" and getting the "students all around the court" seems like an impossibility.Hopefully Beth continues to have meetings with all stakeholders. Gotta keep the big donors happy while somehow getting the students to the games. From what I have seen and read, it's pretty clear she is open to realistic ideas that would finally result in getting students to games.
But how aggressive will Beth be? As noted previously, Beth wants students all around the court. Fran said 2 years ago that the students could end up behind the benches.
that is where the renovation comes into playBoth "keeping the big donors happy" and getting the "students all around the court" seems like an impossibility.
