what is this guys deal with Iowa? Seems like he enjoys being involved in controversies involving calls or no calls with the Hawks. He was the lead official in the Clark/Tomosello Big Ten Final and also the Meyer match last night. You could hear Terry say to Meyer "he wants to take this from you" after Preisch ran off the mat into the scorers table trying to avoid the takedown and fleeing was not called.

This is the only official my household knows by name because of his blatant anti-Iowa bias in his officiating. We cringe every time we see him on the mat with a Hawkeye.

He did a couple duals this year for us that were extremely sub par.

There is a chance that he is thin skinned and Brands let him know he messed up. Now he's angry with everything and everyone Hawkeye. You, as 'our' most thin skinned poster could relate.

I thought the Rivera talk was tin foil hat talk until what I saw tonight in the hall match.
The entire arena knew stalling was the right call. The non call forced bo towards hall and that made an easy attack for Hall.
That was disgraceful

The boos were pretty loud at that point. Everyone not for PSU (so obviously not ESPN) wanted it called.

Not at all. It's human nature, kind of like people think judges aren't biased. If that's the case why do the dems and repubs want to appoint their own judges? Because they are biased? Lol

He also was a ref in a few team matches this season and he made similar mistakes, he might be highly regarded but he is very inconsistent.

I have never posted before to be critical of an official, but he is the worst official in the Big 10. Totally inconsistent. The fact that there were no stall calls against Sasso is a joke in that match. I do believe he has a bias toward Iowa and someone should intervene. He is paid a paycheck to do a job, so he should be held accountable for doing it poorly.
