I have a question, Does Beth have the actual final say in determining Fran’s future? IIRC Barbara Wilson was pretty involved in Brian’s termination. Just wondering if with a buyout etc if Beth actually has full authority.
Monday afternoon seems likely. After all, it'll take a couple of days for the legal and finance departments to review the terms of the raise and extension.

Iowa's season may already be over. The guys she'd be after as a replacement hopefully still have an NCAA Tournament to coach.

True firing Fran right away gets the replacement search jumpstarte. The rest of the staff can handle the High Pressure NIT coaching as Fran was able to show us by getting ejected.
I hope Fran does have a job lined up at Penn---partially reduced Buyout for IOwa, Iowa pays his salary at Penn so Penn gets a free coach, Fran gets to keep coaching at a lower level and bring in Jack as player and CMAC and PMAC as coaches, and Iowa can move on. Classy exit and Win Win for all. Penn becomes Nepotism U.
