Lexi Hull might just be morphing into Gabbie Marshall the second.
Credit to Sides. She has adjusted her questionable lineup decisions and has drawn up some fantastic plays for Hull after timeouts. It’s noticeable after how bad LA and Chicago looked after timeouts yesterday.

Clark is sitting at 232 assists on the season. Currently it’s the 10th highest total in a season. She needs 85 more assists in 12 games to break the single season record. That would be a 7.01 avg.

CC was rubbing her left arm entire after game interview. Hope nothing serious.
Not just today. She absolutely does not fit on this team. Slow on defense and can’t stretch the floor.

Can someone please find my post earlier in this thread where I said play Hull ahead of Wallace just for defense alone, and that any offense you might get with that move would just be a bonus? I’m too lazy to find it.

Hopefully soon, we win these games and it’s not even considered an upset.
The Fever don't play again until Saturday, so they get a nice break after two tough home games. The schedule coming up is tough. They are @ Minnesota and then @ suddenly-good, full-strength Atlanta. Atlanta, like the Fever, also just won two big home games against the top tier. They beat the Sun today. After the two tough road games, the Fever go home to play the Sun and then go to Chicago.
Hopefully Chicago is dead and ready to fold the tents up for the season at that point.
I think there's more to it. CC was going to dribble out the clock when Diggins Smith decided to suddenly play aggressive defense. Clark went & celebrated near their bench after the timeout
Here's the missed shots by the Fever against the Storm 18 August 2024. The ones in the paint hurt.
Just the fact that at the beginning of the season we had Wallace and Smith in the starting lineup was just killing us. Now while Samuelson is also bad, she at least stretches the floor and opens things up for Clark and Wheeler to go to work. Boston has also become a terrific passer from the post. Smith starts but her days are numbered. Hill obviously won’t shoot like today but she can hit the 3, runs the floor and also busts her ass on defense. At least Sides wasn’t stubborn and stuck with things that weren’t working.
Credit to Sides. She’s figured out how to exploit the overplay on CC. And others are stepping up. Bluder and Jansen did the same.
