***Official Caitlin/Fever/Kate/Meg Games Mega Thread***

Just the fact that at the beginning of the season we had Wallace and Smith in the starting lineup was just killing us. Now while Samuelson is also bad, she at least stretches the floor and opens things up for Clark and Wheeler to go to work. Boston has also become a terrific passer from the post. Smith starts but her days are numbered. Hill obviously won’t shoot like today but she can hit the 3, runs the floor and also busts her ass on defense. At least Sides wasn’t stubborn and stuck with things that weren’t working.
If Temi ever gets healthy that would be huge too.

I don’t know why they keep poking the bear. At the end if the day, Caitlin will getchu.
For anyone with the WNBA app you can go back & watch. CC is walking the ball over 1/2 court around the 1:34 mark & just dribbling it out when Diggins Smith suddenly tries to steal the ball & play aggressive D. After Dantas hits the jumper & the timeout is called, Clark walks near the Seattle bench clapping and getting the crowd fired up. If Smith just chills out with the game out of reach, this doesn't happen 🤷‍♂️

It’s actually incredible how good CC is playing now. And her will to win is way underrated. She absolutely took over that game in the 4th qtr. and it also helps to have teammates that can knock down shots. Kudos to Hull and Mitchell and Boston for being such a great team player.

And Diggins-Smith had just missed a three pointer, so it’s not like the Storm had emptied their entire bench…it was only a 16 point game at that point, not exactly a complete blow out.

Good thing they're done playing Seattle this season, but I get the feeling that someday there will be payback in Seattle.

CC is always been that player that you love her if she's on your team and absolutely hate her if she's not.

Yeah, I get that feeling too seeing all the Caitlin signs and jerseys at away arenas in both college and now in the pros.

You serious Clark? Sure she can be kinda ill tempered occasionally and there's always haters, but Caitlin has an international fandom.

I'm more referring to how opposing teams must just hate the adoration CC gets on the road games.

Except I don't think she becomes who she is without going to Iowa.

Which is why everything worked out for the best.

Well, except for the national championship games......but f*** those teams that wouldn't let us win a national championship.

Remember ol' Coach Two Shits couldn't care less 😉.

I don't think Caitlin hyping the fans directly in front of the Seattle bench was too endearing to them, but I'm kinda sensing the old guard is realizing she's that good and is steadily earning their respect.

I would think every single player, all 143 of them, realize the WNBA wouldn't be getting half the publicity and notoriety they're getting if it wasn't for Clark.
The casual basketball fan never gave the W a second look before this season.

Here’s a serious question. Whoever gets the Fever in the first round will probably be either the 2 or the 3 seed. Right now, that appears to be either the Lynx or the Sun. If you’re one of those teams, do you move your playoff game into a bigger venue since it’s “the playoffs” but risk losing your home court advantage to CC Nation, or do you stay in your little podunk arena? Would “two sh!ts” dare play those home games in Target Center? You lose just one and then you’re headed to Gainbridge for the deciding Game 3.

Clark needs to be careful. If she gets two more technical fouls, she has to miss a game. It shouldn't be too difficult to avoid, but she does get emotional.
Yeah to me that was a pretty weak tech to call. It wasn’t like she was mouthing off or shoved anyone. Just frustrated with herself for that miss as far as I could tell. Then of course they don’t call one on the sore losers there at the end.

I was nervous thinking Theresa Weatherspoon might have learned her lesson after last game and decided to run the Sky through Cardoso in the post. Guess I didn’t need to worry. I see she got half the minutes despite having nearly the same point total as Angel, and the Sky were blown out by the Mercury. I can live with that.

I just found "Caitlin Clark Indiana Fever" game threads in the oddest place, at LSU Tigerdropping on the More Sports board.

They love her! And they call her "Queen Cait." Wonder how they settled on that, but I like it.

Furthermore, the "Angel Reese Double-Double" threads are like 90% sarcastic with some serious digs at AR.

Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. I read the LSU/Iowa game thread after the game and I remember many being very impressed with C².
