The other 3, all time, with 30+ points, 6+ assists, 5+ rebounds, 3+ steals & 3+ blocks in a game:

But according to Taurasi, it's going to take a long time for Caitlin to be able to play in this league and have any success.

makes me wonder if CC is building momentum where they can't leave her off the Olympic team....

we'll see; unfortunately, there might be some politics in it....
I guess I would be surprised, at this point, if they took her. With that being said, I think they should, since from what I've read there isn't a point guard in waiting to take over. It would be good to get her feet wet while there are still some some crusty vets are in front of her for PT.

every game there seems to be a ton of missed layups & fumbled passes where the turnover gets assigned to CC

Last night CC played 34 minutes; I don't think the head coach has much of a clue on player rotations

I see that 30 year old Dearica Hamby (the Sparks 6'3 forward) played all 40 minutes
The Sparks had multiple players out, and had to go deep in their bench..

If this doesn't get better, she won't stay in the WNBA for long.

She will get into coaching.
What? You serious? It may take a year , and some roster shuffling, but Clark WILL be the star in this league, and there is zero doubt about it. With all the roster issues, and tremendous pressure she's till putting up numbers like Only one or two players in the leagues history. Wait till she settles in after actually having an off season. I'd also contend that CC does not have the temperment to be a coach, in the same way that Michael did not..

Look at the assist difference.

.............................Pts...Rebs...Asts...Stl...Blk...FG%..3Pt%..FT%
Caitlin Clark......17.3...5.4......6.3......1.4...1.1...38.1....31.3...88.1
Diana Taurasi...16.8...5.2......1.3.......50...20..38.2...35.2...77.8

Too lazy to look, isn't she like the 2nd leading scorer in NCAA WBB history? Also, she is 5'5" which is probably why she was drafted so late and then cut.
She was 3rd overall. She used her Covid year and played 5 seasons though. She actually did what Sheryl Swoops accused CC of doing. So according to Swoopes, she should have an asterisk by her name.

Yep, Dyaisha Fair played in 153 total games and ended up with 1 more point than Kelsey Mitchell.

I still think the Fever need to give Monika Czinano a call. Can you imagine the Law Firm back together again?
No….huge defensive lability, an average rebounder at best and quite frankly doesn’t get up the court any faster than the players she currently is playing with.

All last year we had people in the threads complaining about not having a big like Monica and all year long I pointed out this team is better without her.

Not the same concept, but there is no way in hell she’s gonna get up the court any quicker than Fangbele.

It’s going to suck to have fangbele out for a few weeks.

3rd, she passed Mitchell by 1 point I believe. saw some social media comments complaining they couldn’t cut Martin because of the CC/Iowa connection 🤣 couldn’t possibly be because Kate is just a better overall player

Yeah, 6ft (not 5-5) can shoot, rebound and plays hard!

a light bump/touch on a layup might though. It is insane to me how inconsistent refs have been when I’ve watched. I’m generally okay with some contact, as I think too quick of a whistle just slows the game down. But on one trip down the lightest contact gets the whistle, and on the next full contact doesn’t.

This is my problem

Yea, her 6pts per game lower average makes for ALOT of points over 153 games.

I feel bad for Boston. She's a marked player, she moves it's a foul on her.
I swear to god these refs are determined to keep this sh!t league lost in obscurity. It would be one thing if they simply weren’t giving the future stars the benefit on some of these calls. But they appear to be doing everything in their power to saddle Aliyah, T-up Caitlin, etc., etc.

Now, you’d think that there must be some Nike and Wilson executives somewhere who might eventually start exerting some influence here. Can’t believe Nike has much interest in spending $28 million to market a shoe that ends up having limited appeal due to a group of inept fvcks who don’t seem to be able to get the big picture.
