ESPN is disingenuous to call this "rookie rankings" when it is clear that this tool's "advanced metrics" are absolutely broken. Offensive rebounds carry WAY too much weight in this, and the proof is in everything from plus/minus rating with the two on the floor, to wins per minutes played. A math geek who got way too high on his own supply.

Where is that poster who threw out some advanced stats that said a steal was worth 9.1 points? It was only a decade old and has never been repeated but statistics can pretty much be used to tell whatever story you want to tell.

Nope, that was his second year in the league. His first year he was rookie of the year in the NBA, averaging 28 ppg while playing in all 82 games.

Plus/minus has to be one of the most meaningless stats out there.
