We have football as well,. This is a shit night no dispute. Still won 13 games, a conference championship, and have a top 10 recruiting class heading to 2024.
I would imagine there are many teams that would change places with that level of success

I feel bad for FSU. Bowls should be a celebration but then they got a huge shit sandwich from the CFP and another huge shit sandwich from all the opt outs and the bowl result.

Hated to see the starting qb go down for both squads but FSU got screwed with the last year of the four team play off. I’d like to see how it would do in the 12 team field with the starter healthy as they’d probably win it all. Damn injuries.
Even though I predicted 0-70 it's still a shitty end to a special season behind a special player in Jordan Travis and the Coach of the Year.
Hell, there were some on the football board who thought Iowa could beat Michigan in the B1GCG
Yep, by almost all standards, the regular season was a great season. Better than any of us would have predicted. The wheels just came off when it no longer mattered. Thats all I am taking away from this.
If it was really important to the FSU players that it not be perceived in this manner, they had the opportunity to try and prove everybody wrong against a big time opponent. A big chunk of them chose to bail Instead of taking that opportunity.

Most people who understand the state of college football and possess half a functioning brain understand this game for what it is.
My guess is a lot of the Iowa fans poking fun at Florida State right now have been vociferous defenders of the Iowa offense and the Ferentzes. Something something “complimentary” football.
