Least surprising post of the day.
My biggest issue tonight. Bad angles, and inability to set the edge are a couple of others.
The ones that bailed did everything they could to win every single game, win a conference championship, only to be told winning every game doesn't matter. Why should winning a non-playoff game matter when the other 13 wins didn't matter? **** the CFP committee. We don't have to prove them wrong, it is evident that what they did was just plain wrong.

I just turned the game on for 2 minutes and after 1 minute of watching the Georgia coach smiling non-stop with his bright yellow teeth, I turned the channel. 😞
This is the most painful part, that start put JT in position to feel he needed to run when all season he was so careful. DAMN IT

You can pout and whine about how you were wronged and quit, or take it as a challenge to prove everyone wrong. The strong minded take the second option. These players took the first approach.
FTR, I can't stand the way this opt out crap is playing out. Seeing healthy players opt out late and then stand on the sidelines in their jerseys like they are still part of the team is sickening. Play the game with your mates or GTF away.

Certainly a lot of this. Needs reformation before it gets too far to be fixed. But this / it was predictable.
Our guys on the sidelines were the injured ones. I don’t think any of the opt outs were there.

I'm hoping that helps lead to the solution I offered earlier in the thread. Expand the playoffs even more and add an nit like tourney on top of that and get rid of these now pointless bowls. I don't blame these kids one bit for walking out what are they going to play for? They have a lot more waiting for them going forward or other opportunities they need to get in on early. It is time to change the system with the rest of the game
The Bowls, Conferences and Schools have been all about this for many years. ... oh and NCAA and ESPN.

Nope, but let’s see any other team play as short handed against even the sisters of the poor. Besides only fielding 8 starters, plenty of the backups were out.

I know Iowa has had several first and second round draft picks the last couple of years and all of them played in the bowl games.
That’s fine. They own it. I’ve been saying college athletes have been getting paid for decades. I don’t care how much Iowa and the Big Ten makes. This has turned out way worse than even I thought it was going to be. High school kid who’s kind of good at a sport is a millionaire. Now do people who research cancer cures.

That's good if true. I hated watching Harrison Jr. on the OSU sideline last night. He had no business being there IMO.
