I’m not disputing that. Only pointing out that the starters of other power 5 teams wouldn’t likely lose by 60 points .
There is a very good chance they would have left us out even with Travis. Kirk Herpestreet was talking about excluding FSU the morning of the N Alabama game.

Really gonna depend on the Portal pick ups. Clearly FSU has a notable gap between the starters and the #2s. 8-4 if FSU gets a QB and a couple other key pick ups. Lots of reps needed and tomorrow starts the new season.

Tackling was pretty poor overall, but so many attempts were in open field situations.
Yeah, but I think he might be the only player out of like 9 or 10 first thru third round draft picks over the last 5 years that sat out. I think that's kind of unusual in the sport today. This year it's just Vines and he's already hit the portal because he lost his spot to Brown.
Me? Personally? No. But I'm pretty sure that if put in that position, my first reaction would be to get mad, like they did. My second would be to get even, like they didn't. The players that played deserve props for not hanging their heads and going out there for that ass kicking. The ones that didn't not so much.
FSU isn't the only team missing a bunch of players this bowl season. They're just the only ones using a CFP snub to rationalize it.
Tennessee will be missing a ton of their defense for the game and Iowa has the worst offense in the country. Could be interesting.
I don’t know the dynamic in Iowa- but in Tennessee- UTk fans are OBNOXIOUS and every year is “next year”
