I’ve basically pegged Scottie as my winner for this since the final round at LACC. He and Fowler are getting some outright $$ from me.
I’ll have a top 20 or 30 bet on Padraig, and I’ll throw some money at Bryson and Fitzpatrick top 20 or 30 as well, depending on payouts.
Will place more bets before the Open starts, Put $10 on Tommy Fleetwood to get the blood pumping, Took vacation this week mainly to watch the Open. (Do have a scramble I am playing in Thursday afternoon). Good week, Get to watch golf early and play a lot of golf as well!🍺🍺
Yes, I willl bet on a couple others as well along with the other normal top 5, 10 etc. I also like to bet a few head to heads on the weekend.

I don't bet and honestly have no clue what some of you are even talking about.
With that said, my sleeper would be Tyrrell Hatton even though I can't stand the guy. I can see that prick putting something good together as long as he doesn't have a mental meltdown.
I'm hoping Rory wins it though. Much respect for his anti-LIV stance.
I normally root for American players but some of the best are now dead to me (LIV).

For me, The Open might be my favorite major.
Hard to rank 1-3.
4 is obviously the PGA.
I have Directtv dish. They are in a standoff with NBC right now so I am not getting any NBC.
The Open is on USA Network on Thursday ANF Friday but looks like I will be shut out on the weekend as coverage goes to NBC.
I get a BBC channel but not the one that has wire to wire coverage of the Open.
Pissed ..any suggestions?

This, I have directv as well, I subscribed to peacock, Not sure if I will keep it, But that decision will be made after the Open.
Buy a digital antenna to pick up NBC over the air? I’ve got one as back up for when my DirectTV goes down during bad storms.

I was back and forth on whether or not to bet Fleetwood as an outright winner, but I jumped on him when he was at +1500 during his round.
I've got $20 on Fleetwood @ +3100 and $10 on Wyndham Clark @ +5500 that look promising.
(I also have bets sprinkled on Cam Smith, Cam Young, Hatton, Rahm, and Min Woo Lee, but those look less promising)
Lee finished strong after a shaky front 9.
All those guys are still in it. There are a bunch of guys in the top 20 that will come back down to earth, and anyone who gets to the weekend within 6 is a threat.
Fowler with a snowman on 8 was just brutal.
Cam Young was +9000 and Lee was +7000. I just couldn't pass up those odds.
Looks like rain is in the forecast for the next 3 days. Depending on the wind, we could see a huge variance in scores depending on the difference in tee times.
Lamprecht all over the place early. Missed the 2nd fairway right by 100 yards and the 2nd left by 50.
I like him, he’s always been a solid, solid player who really seems to have found something in majors lately.
I just don’t want him to run away with this thing!
I would doubt anyone “runs away” with this one. WEATHER is too much of a factor, I think. Harman is due....but lots of golf to play.
Hatton just dropped from T11 to T50 with a 9 on 18.
