Almost had a Maddux. Nebbie announcers were coping hard with excuses
Weren’t they? Could let a pitch go by without mentioning two fly balls to the wall. Then “close” 1-2 and 2-2 balls on Fullard before he went deep. “Nebraska hit the ball harder than Iowa”. For ****s sake.
The Big Ten Tournament will be a better place without Nebraska in it.
I’ve gone back and forth on this. Sure, when they ten run Iowa in an elimination game, it’s sucks. But I, like you, want the tournament to remain in Omaha. That to me says they want Nebraska to make it.

So many times . . . a team that goes off in the first game of a DH will go stone cold in game #2. Going to need Langenberg to shake off his funk and pitch a strong game.
