*****OFFICIAL IOWA at Wisconsin Game Thread*****

Thanks All for the entertainment. One of the worst offensive games I have ever seen. Hope Wisconsin gets blown out by OSU. Their defense is good, but BF handed the game to them on plate. Sour grapes signing out

As good as brians gameplan was last week is how bad it was this week. Didnt think he could destroy all the goodwill from last game in just one week but, alas, i was very wrong. Thatta boy, boy wonder

Amazing the rollercoaster that is KF football....

Wisconsin didn’t win this Game Iowa gave it to them....hope they return the favor next time Iowa is undefeated this late into the season please let me be alive when that happens again...

Emotional roller coaster. Its disappointing but we have seen teams like this and seasons like this where we play very poorly on the road. Its a coaching issue.

I know. He needed more experience before starting (ideally). He'll get there but not this year.
If he gets time he’s legit imho.....the d last week was soft for him...the Oline was on point....it looked good...but the ‘way’ we play we need to play clean....that means a lot of things....good Oline play, good throws, and make catches that are there.....no TOs.......etc.....it’s not gonna be easy...ever. Wisconsin d is tough but we didn’t make the plays......we ran a lot on first down and got 3-4 yds if I wasn’t too messy.....we just didn’t put ourselves in good spots for a blitz heavy d on 3rd and longs......I dunno, ....but im not calling for people to be fired that aren’t on the field....just makes more sense to me.

can't blame the coaches for players not catching or dropping the ball and this is not all on Marsette as Easley dropped a 1st down catch and the Meer cat let the punts hit the ground an roll pinning them inside the 10 yard line . this was a huge problem and the difference the Wisconsin punt returner caught the ball vs the Iowa player lets it hit the ground and watch it roll.
the youth card is out the window 10 games into the season, but the players still have to execute. the coaches can't catch the passes for them.

but hey it could be worse as #1 Georgia just lost 40-17 to Auburn which may have knocked them out of the CFP.
now its on to Purdue and finishing 8-4 after many were predicting a 6-6 season.
hoping for either the Cotton Bowl or the Music City bowl vs getting into a bowl where Iowa is lined up someone of equal ability.

Now I’ve seen it all.

Thank you.

I still can't figure it out, though. Even Wisconsin's pre-B10 cupcakes looked way better on offense than Iowa did today. I don't think there's an FBS team in the country that could have played worse on offense against UW than Iowa did today. Historically bad. Well, maybe back when they had leather helmets they played this badly, but ... I give up. I don't know what the hell to think about this game other than to flush it down the toilet--this one stunk so bad even turds were trying to run away from it.

I might be crazy but is t there something in Kirks contract about getting 8 wins? I feel like that number should’ve been pushed to 9? Maybe just maybe we would attack more on offense and defense instead of relying on teams shooting them selves in the foot to win games? I might be wrong about that though?

Keep crying Iowa,WISONSIN BEAT YOU!!! I heard tour sh@t all week.
wiscy played out of their ass and the hawks played their worst game of the season. and no last weeks game vs OSU was not their best or Stanley's best game as that came vs ISU when Stanley threw for 333 yards and 5 TD's. not surprised as this was the classic let down after a big win. ,
now its on to Purdue.

Indeed... it’s a tough one to figure out but I look at it like this: (and I’m sure everybody will ‘expect’ more and call me a KF ‘lover’...btw I think he’s a great dude and a great rep for the program....and I pull my hair out many times about how it goes down....btw I know less about football than anybody that played there for sure but they ‘generally’ love the guy) we have our years and make some noise...we also have years where ‘we’ think we should be better....agreed? Sometimes the bounces go our way(2015 cuz let’s face it we got lucky here and there) and are times they don’t when we think it should(2010).....it’s hawkeye football....in a perfect world we are the best underdog out there.....for me it makes it fun. (And I’m not a fan of participation trophies) you get what you earn. Js.

no you have not seen it all. Iowa was picked by 99.9% to finish 6-6, now they can still finish 8-4 and go to a bowl where the team will be on par for where Iowa is at.

a loss like this players can flush and move on.

Maybe they should try learning from it rather than flushing it.

Might avoid a repeat of what we saw against MSU, Northwestern, and today.

I dont think I see many hawk fans crying about this loss. Pretty sure if any team plays like we did today they would lose. Away, in the big ten? After our game last week, what did you expect our fans to think? Our game plan was nothing close to what it was last week. Why? I dont know? No throws to the TEs? dropped passes? 1 player kept us in this game. The only thing I do see is a textbook DB Wisconsin fan thumping his chest on an Iowa message board. Dude your team played well today. I cant believe it was even that close with as many drops we had. Frankly you make me want to see you get your ass kicked moving forward. From what I saw, you have some work to do for when you play anyone outside the big ten. Take a look at our message boards from the last week. I hardly recall seeing any one saying this game was going to be a gimme or we were totally going to destroy an undefeated team at their place. 007- did you marry your cousin?
