Since the 2009 game, it's disgusting to see the directions that Iowa & Wisconsin have done. It's like that game was the game that decided who would take off and who would stay mediocre.

And it doesn't matter who's coaching them, either. They get a new coach and the new staff is instantly better than Iowa's. Hard to fathom.

No, they don't do zone blocking with smallish guards on offense and they run a 3-4 and disguise their blitzes. KF is stale on both sides of ball compared to Wisconsin.

Okay, yes, you're right on the specific schemes and nuances.

I meant as far as being run-oriented, pounding the rock, and playing stout defense by dominating in the trenches. The old-school approach.

At least the final score now will at least partially reflect just how much Iowa was dominated today.

There won't be any where for the coaches to hide behind moral victories or "close losses". This was an asskicking.

Our coaches quit before the game even started. The lack of attempts at a vertical passing game compared to last week particularly. First shot down field was towards the end of 3rd quarter. They went back into their shell and have no balls.

I agree they needed more shots downfield, but you have to protect.
