The offensive line just isn't very good. No run blocking and Stanley doesn't have much time in pocket.

I don't think Stanley trust his receivers to make a play on a tight ball so he overthrows them all the time on anything over 20
I have been begging for a new punter since the first damn game. The backup must be atrocious if he can't beat out this guy. Beg a few guys from the soccer team to try out or something. This is bad.
Some of those would be downed inside the 5 if you let them bounce. If the punt has good hang time I think you do field it on catch at 10. The problem is Iowa's bend on defense always puts the offense behind 8-ball on field position
You know what would be nice is if the folks on this forum would stop ignoring how bad Stanley is on deep throws and how awful our punting is. Come on guys, don't sweep this stuff under the rug!!
If we're backed up we will always run wadley up the gut into a brick wall for no gain everytime.

This is looking more like a bowl game for Iowa.

Especially now that we tried play action on first last drive. Predicting a draw somewhere in these first 2 plays.
