*****Official IOWA vs. GCU Game Thread*****

How did the game clock go from 4.3 with 0 on the shot clock on the violation, down to 3.1 when we were inbounding the ball? Is there some one second runoff rule on a violation?

Could have used that extra second to get the ball in a better shooter’s hands.

Refs are not sharp

How did they get 3.1 seconds? It was clearly over 4 seconds when the shot clock hit 0.
Not that it matters beside we got to the foul line...but just confusing

This would have been the kind of game that Nunge would have been very helpful in. Too many offensive rebounds given up because of their taller guys and bad bounces that Nunge was great at gobbling up.

Love me some Hawks and Joey t and his surprise 3 but #10 got a lot of 3’s against him. And did someone try to talk trash to Joe W? Dont they know he doesn’t even talk! Go Hawks.

Kinda wondering that myself. Game clock was over 4 when the shot clock expired. Not sure how it was set to 3.1.
