So I guess that makes everything all white then...and let's not forget that same rhetoric was used when wiping out the Native Americans and is still being used in one form or another from the ultra right in this country to this very day. Much of what's in the Quran is in the Bible, which is what he's basing much of his thinking on.
So what should they have done?
New Testament. Also, the Quran is cool with lying and killing non believers. No New Testament saying to live your enemy, etc

JFC you have offered nothing but post after post claiming Israel is committing war crimes. Yet you offer no solution to what Israel is supposed to do after a brutal attack.
I have no doubt some people in the IDF have committed war crimes, just as Hamas has. Just as Iran has. Just as Islamic Jihad has. And Egypt. And Russia. And Ukraine. And the United States. And on and on throughout history.
War crimes are a horror and I am quite certain that the international community and many many Israelis in the IDF are trying to prevent them. But they will happen on both sides of this conflict.
Now bring a f*cking solution for how Israel is supposed to handle a genocidal extremist group that has proven they will do absolutely anything to eradicate the state of Israel. Should they accept that? They have been given a devil’s bargain by Hamas and they are taking the only logical path. Maybe if Hamas gave up the hostages, and maybe if the innocent Palestinians pointed out the baddies, we wouldn’t have to deal with your in incessant blathering over the horrors of war which Hamas started.
Try to follow along, succumbing to propaganda is a both sides issue in American society. It doesn’t mean that both sides succumbing to it will be apparent in each conflict.
I don’t disagree that religious certainty & righteousness is at the heart if this conflict. From the Jews, from the Palestinians, from Iran’s regime.
I do however think the Israeli government is justified in taking measures to not be systematically targeted for genocidal extinction. There are more than Jews that participate in Israel’s government and citizenry. The Israeli government is protecting people of multiple faiths.
Hamas and their ilk will happily send their own people to slaughter to serve their ends.
That’s the rub for me.

I have no love for Netanyahu and I believe in a two state solution. I am empathetic to the plight of the Palestinian people (overall - not Hamas) and believe the current right wing government and pro settler policies have exacerbated this situation.
But you are so over the top it is ridiculous. You could argue apartheid, that is a legitimate discussion. But genocide? That is just plain silly. I have dined in Palestinian owned restaurants in Jerusalem, I have walked around the Mosque atop Temple Mount - no one was killing the staff or worshipers. You are either a troll, a paid ambassador of Hamas or a fool.
Now perhaps if you want to discuss productively you could provide your solution.

I haven't deflected anything. I literally cite sources for everything I claim. Every poster against me just spouts bullshit like "war has been going on for thousands of years", "Israel won palestine by conquest. Ever heard of to the victors go the spoils" and a bunch of other nonsense that goes against international law, reason and well documented events.

First she is not an employee of the UN. She is such a controversial figure that a bipartisan group has called for her removal due to a history of perceived anti-Israeli bias.
And your solution is a cease fire? What does that solve? Will the UN capture and prosecute Hamas perpetrators? Would the innocent Palestinians stop Hamas violence? What practical solution do you have besides crying for peace when bombs are flying from both sides.
We are on a hellish one way trajectory and the push down the path came from Hamas. It’s sad, but now necessary.

No one who is pleading for Palestine can offer a solution without saying **** Israel and the Jewish people.
Even I think if Russia did something to kill US military members our MAGAs would remember who the enemy was pretty quickly.
I’ll put it this way, if a foreign country killed Donald Trump, as POTUS, they would have to suffer a extreme response, in this “lib’s” opinion.
I think this is the most overused BS excuse to bomb the crap out of innocent civilians. There have been over 7000 missile/bomb targets in Gaza. Israel is systematically bombing at will with no regard for civilians. It's just as deplorable as what Hamas did a few weeks ago.
It's not just as deplorable. It's worse by a mile. Governments of civilized societies should be held to a higher standard than a terrorist group.
