While I have little doubt that there are a disturbingly high proportion of palestinians who do think that way (relative to pretty much any other rival population around the world), the sad part about this whole conflict is that it's still likely a substantial minority of a population who would probably like nothing more than to get on with their lives. And therein, as they say, lies the rub.
I think I know who the 'sociopaths' are in this conflict.

Why would I think that? I do think Hamas slaughtered all those people hoping for a response they are now getting to start a regional war that seems inevitable after the extensive bombing of Gaza.

Hamas has been the government for Gaza for 15+ years. If we were talking about a year or two then it would be different, but at this point after 15 years, they are the same.

i worry about them, but I tend to cut slack to the attacker in their willingness to accept collateral damages if they are attacking what they in good faith believe to be military targets.
