Much easier said than done. But imagine what would happen if those cartels started shooting rockets into Texas. How long do you think it would take before the U.S. responded. After the first rocket we'd have planes in the air blowing up anything that looked like a rocket on the ground. If needed then we'd invade Mexico and try to contain the cartels. The goal is to make sure it doesn't happen again and if that takes force then that's what will be done.

This I will agree with you on, it’s difficult to secure the boarder everywhere. But that’s why we make it known not to screw with us or we’ll wipe you out. Fear can sometimes be a good deterrent.

Hamas uses ambulances to transport fighters and weaponry. They use the hospitals as effective human shields for fighters, tunnels and weapons. Their paramedics aren’t really paramedics. I generally agree that Israel should take feasible steps to prevent a loss of innocent life, but war is hell and will always come with some.
The point of my posts is that Israel wouldn’t bomb those places if Hamas did not hide in them like cowards. There has been a huge outcry among a segment of otherwise educated folks in the USA that is conveniently ignoring that blatantly obvious fact.

I imagine most people in the IDF and most people in Israel don’t ”want” to kill civilians. And Israel has taken steps.
- They repeatedly informed civilians to leave the north in leaflets in broadcasts and more…civilians defied the request to leave and Hamas in some cases blocked roads
- They placed calls to Palestinian people informing them buildings would be bombed and asking them to get their neighbors out - there are multiple stories about this.
- They asked Egypt to open the border to refugees.
For political reasons, you have Israel pegged as the big bad wolf. You obviously refuse to understand what is actually going on in Palestine.
The IDF is going waaaay further to protect Palestinian civilians than most retaliating countries would do during a war, especially after they were invaded the way Israel was.

I’m old school Republican enough that I would have bombed, at any time, a place where I thought Iran was developing nuclear capabilities. If anyone uses nukes again, I believe it will be them. They would have been warned ahead of time too. Don’t even think about it or the site will be destroyed. But that’s just me. I do not trust that country in the least.
