I'm beginning to think you know something. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you've been in on some stuff in the past. I'll take you telling us to relax as a good sign. I think we got BM.It's so funny how mad he and the rest of the beat gets whenever David breaks a story lol.

Sometimes I do yeah. But yes it's gonna happen.
He’s young. That’s pretty much it.Why do they all hate David? He's good stuff.
He's young and is quickly becoming the go to guy from what I see and what I hear on the radio. Why do they all hate David? He's good stuff.

David who? It's so funny how mad he and the rest of the beat gets whenever David breaks a story lol.
He is the Dianna Russini of local Iowa sports media, and no, I'm not referencing/comparing the fact that Russini is a bona fide milf............He's young and is quickly becoming the go to guy from what I see and what I hear on the radio.
Texas didn't waste any time with Sean Miller. If this drags out past today it's not good.Hopefully we get an announcement today
Kakert appears on Brada's shows, or at least he used to.Because most of them wanna sit around and complain about their job. Ex: Harty, Docterman, kakert. They don't like Eickholt or Brada.
ASDFLASKDNFAOISDNVOISDAVNAIOWENGFIOANIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Correct. Except…people paid a premium subscription to the former publisher of this site, TK.Kakert appears on Brada's shows, or at least he used to.
The big issue people have with reporters like Eickholt is that they're caught up in this "first scoop" culture craze that has polluted media/journalism, and particularly sports media.
More and more reporters are rushing to put out stories so they can claim to be first, and generate content earlier and faster, and the issue is more and more of this stuff is becoming dart throws, or in the case of organizations like the NFL or NBA, it's smoke from player/coaching agents.
Some of this you can blame on whichever party these journalists are getting their sources from. In other cases, you can blame the journalists for essentially posting false information, or articles with the "hopes" that they prove to be true, so they can go back and say "See? I was first to call it/first on the scene".
Having worked in journalism and gone to journalism school, and understanding how things work, my thought has always been with regards to this need to "get the scoop"..............................who the f*** cares.
I'd rather be accurate than early. There's always an element of timeliness, sure, but reporting the news is about providing facts, and verified facts at that..........not opinions.

Someone start the Stirtz watch thread
Traore will be a stud in this system
Based on the Texas Tech game, McCollum needs to find a guy like Traore that is also 6'9. They got killed in the paint.
I kind of thought he would be one of the first to enter the portal, but still hasn't. Maybe he likes Iowa City and being a Hawk.I liked Traore's game but he seemed soft. I am hoping Ben could retain him.
I like how Thamel worded his sourcing claiming credit for himself.I mean on this case he was accurate and first. I agree with you in general that the race to tweet a news story first is generally silly but in this case he had good sourcing and was clearly right. And I bet almost none of the older beat guys credit him for getting to it first, they're all gonna reference Thamel instead. The whole deal is very petty
That is the big factor for the off-season. Can McCollum find his center to compliment what he wants to put together with the other starting 4.Based on the Texas Tech game, McCollum needs to find a guy like Traore that is also 6'9. They got killed in the paint.
