I don't blame you for being upset at the fake FG call. I was baffled by it as well given the situation and there's no other adjective that can be used to describe it other than dumb. However all these people saying "oh my God, they're going to win now" even before Nebraska scored the touchdown to bring it within 8 points is waaaayyyyyy over the top. Woosah something. We're 4-7 for Christ's sake!

Purdue is 5-6 and they beat Iowa because of a 4th quarter comeback. You're focused on this game as if Iowa doesn't have a history of choking this year.

I guess my concern for you is that you seem to be happy with just keeping it close. You seem to know that your team doesn't belong, and have become the Hawkeyes of old... Sad, really.

I'm not happy with our team "keeping it close". I hate moral victories. However what do you want me to do, throw a tantrum over the same team that lost to Troy early in the season losing this game at the moment? I'm not going to lose my mind because one or two things go wrong, especially given the litany of things that have gone wrong for Nebraska this season. And in terms of things that actually mean something to me in life, I've got bigger fish to fry than freak out over some guys that are in their teens and early 20s losing a football game.
