Iowa should have won easily. Coaching decisions, mental and physical mistakes, lack of fortitude are what made this a last second winner.
Yeah, this was one game that boring zone blocking runs on nearly every play was the right move. This game should have been a blowout.
I was having pretty traumatic flashbacks to 2014 there in the second half. A ballsy 4th and 8 conversion was the difference. Credit to Stanley and the Ferentz’s for that one
For one, I am not "Husker Nation". I'm one guy that lives in Nebraska that was born in Nebraska that has always supported Nebraska (much like I'm sure is the case with you and Iowa). So don't burden me with the blame for others making ridiculous statements because I haven't made them regarding Husker football at all this season. And secondly, how much of a miserable human being do you have to be to say the last couple of sentences that you did? Seriously. I wished you a good weekend, that wasn't me being a smartass, and in turn you hope I have a miserable weekend all because I support a team that a decent percentage of your own fanbase doesn't even view as its' primary rival. You're a sad, sad little man and for your sake I do hope you seek help but that's on you. And no I won't be miserable this weekend and if I am it's not because a bunch of guys in their teens and early-twenties lost a football game. I'm far removed from being 12-years-old, I suggest you try to do the same and gain some perspective. Take care man and wooooosssaaaaahhhhhh.
Coach frost just said part of the reason or difference in the game was because Iowa has a bigger, stronger team Dennis right now, especially on both lines. They said that’s going to change over the next few seasons with a very aggressive strength and conditioning program, and I agree with him. Should be a fun ride the next few years
For the life of me... I don't understand how anyone from an opposing team can come on an opposing team's message board during the game and think that's OK.

I returned the shit that I was getting. And this isn't the premium board. If you wanted to guarantee yourself a circle jerk with fellow Hawkeye fans pony up the 5 bucks or whatever a month to get a premium membership, that is if you can afford it. Until then, this is essentially a public place that practically anyone can frequent if they so desire. If anyone's getting pissy it sounds like you need to look in a mirror. Hell you guys were ready to burn down the stadium after the failed fake FG even though you were still up by 15!

Absolutely I have friends. I don't watch Nebraska football games with friends. For some reason over the years I've found games more enjoyable to watch by myself. That way I can watch it however loud as I would like, yell at the TV whenever I would like, or if I get bored because Nebraska's getting their asses kicked (which has happened a few times the past few years) I can say F it and go take a nap or play some FIFA or something. Plus I can't drink during this game as I have to work in an hour.

I expected hostility. Many of you guys are right in that a lot of our fans do give people a bad impression of Nebraskans/Husker fans due to the arrogance they possess in which they believe it still is 1995 and Tommie Frazier is running amok. However I'm not a bad guy, I'm not here looking to make excuses for why Nebraska lost or make threats that your time beating Nebraska is over, I just wanted to talk football with some fans of Iowa seeing as Iowans are the one relatable state and university in the Big Ten to Nebraska in my opinion. That's it. Hate me for liking the Huskers, I don't care, but I will say coming here during the game did make the game more enjoyable to watch, partly due to the Hawkeye fans freaking out at the first sign of trouble and partly because it is fun to talk crap from time to time. However at the end of the day, I will always give Iowa fans crap but I don't have anything against the Hawkeyes. Again enjoy the holidays and best of luck in the bowl game.
Just because you can...be an a-hole, doesn't mean you should. Then again, something like that shouldn't need to be explained.
