As an impartial observer, I’ve never seen a message board go from wanting Ferentz to resign to gloating so quickly. I guess a last second field goal over a 4-8 team at home gives both sides a chance to play. Congrats hawks and good luck in your bowl game.

Helluva game. Anyone who thinks Nebraska isn't going to be a top tier team in the Big Ten West is delusional. The Big Ten West may not have the overall cache of the East.....but Nebraska, Iowa, Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Purdue make it one hell of a balanced and highly competitive division. Minny is making some progress. Illinois is a trainwreck. But hey, every division needs its whipping boy.

There is not a single Hawkeye fan here happy with what led up to the game winning field goal. This game should have been a blowout
One other thing....weird lack of use of timeouts by Frost and Co. on that last drive. Several times it seemed like it would have been a good time to kill the clock for their D and they just let the seconds circle the drain. Almost Ferentzian clock management there.
