He has most of their yards. Their problem is McSorely is having a bad passing game, unbelievably, maybe Iowa defense is in his head. Brincks either is a stud or that Penn State OT is terrible.

Stat of the century. Bet KF is CFB's bestest ever coach by that stat. Iowa really should start keeping this stat and use it to recruit studs.
It's unbelievable the defensive effort in the 1st half. PSU basically started every drive on the 50 and only put up 3 points. Iowa can barely get a first down, gives up a safety, Penn St. chucks and turnover and Iowa is up at 1/2 with only 50 yards of offense.
This game is just... silly. Man I hope the defense can keep up this effort and the offense makes some adjustments.

I was kinda glad about the safety. With the Iowa punters that would have been at least 3 for P. With the safety - it flipped the field a little.
Expecting the D to keep this up is asking for too much. I've seen this script before and it doesn't end well unless Iowa's offense also starts pulling more weight.
yes, we were so slow in our LB/Safeties. Dose of athleticism. Could of should have had a pick on that jump ball--covered it well and ball was in his hands.

It definitely is asking too much, but if the offense can pick it up and defense even performs at 75% of what they did in the 1st half, Iowa has the advantage.

More stretch runs and punting on 3rd down to play field position and milk that clock as much as possible.

u seem to be correct. Iowa and bad field position meant the usual script: 2 runs for zero and 3rd and long pass short of the sticks followed by 30 yard punt. PSU was going to score a TD on that short field, it was matter of time.
