Oline was trying to block 8 guys all night.
And Brian was trying to run into all 8.

Bad coaching on offense cost this game. I am sure I will be ripped. But true
That's because we ran to freaking much.Oline was trying to block 8 guys all night.
And Brian was trying to run into all 8.
Now I know what Michigan State felt like when Stanzi hit McNutt

ared you braindead ? we just lost to no 4 on the last play of the game against the best defense we play all year, get a clue.Iowa DID NOT play like a top 5 team. Are you serious. We had a few big plays that kept us in the game that’s it. Don’t be ahead of yourself bro
This was kind of a typical Iowa game at home against a top team. Relatively conservative play calling and putting it on the defense to keep it close with chance to win at the end.And Brian was trying to run into all 8.
???? I understand you’re mad, but how often does iowa come out on the losing end of these? Seldom. So predictable. Rinse repeat. Son will continue this legacy.
It's pretty simple... Stop Wadley and you stop Iowa. Iowa QB/Receiver play is not respected therefore expect 8 in the box every game, until Iowa can exploit that.

Almost worked again, but Barkley is just so elusive.
It just depends on how the boys take this. This is a threshold moment and they could let this ruin the rest of their season, or they could use it as big motivation. It just depends on what choice they make.Couldn't ask for much more. 1 inch from deflecting that ball and upsetting #4 with one of the best RBs I've ever seen play college football. We're gonna be alright.
How many titles do we have????? I understand you’re mad, but how often does iowa come out on the losing end of these? Seldom.

This might be the best game they'll play all season. I hope they show up in the rest of their games, but I don't know if they'll give it everything in every game the rest of the way. That expectation would kind of be unrealistic. I mean they damn near beat a team with the likely Heisman winner putting on a show. It's possible they might not be able to rise to this level again this season.
I'm not a big fan of nepotism, so I wont scream too loud if Iowa looks outside the family tree to fill Kirk's replacement. But if the next 20 years of Hawkeye football looks like the last 20 years, I'd be happy. Just look to Nebraska to see what happens when a program doesn't appreciate its limitations. So predictable. Rinse repeat. Son will continue this legacy.
where did we play not to lose ? we lost on the last play of the game, grow up.So play not to lose? Like father like son I guess.
No you don't. Our disbelief tonight is nothing compared to how it must've felt for the Spartee fans as they fell from their invincible ivory tower of hubris. Almost as bad as Nubbie fans. Now I know what Michigan State felt like when Stanzi hit McNutt
Didn't work either. Every one of them got blocked. Our blitzes need some refining..................Not sure why we rushed 6 on that final play?
Thank you. I hope this motivates them to see how good they can be. I think tonight showed that we are a pretty good team.Good post. We will see how Iowa responds to this. I think they will come out fine.
Everyone in the entire university?at the end of the day - Stop Bark = W. Sad part is that Iowa lost to the pedophile U. EVERYONE IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSITY WAS ON BOARD WITH SANDUSKY POUNDING INTO THESE TEENAGE BOYS. IF NOT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED AND IN JAIL! BUT - NOOOOOOOOOO! You are what you are!

Definition of average with an occasional bonor.I'm not a big fan of nepotism, so I wont scream too loud if Iowa looks outside the family tree to fill Kirk's replacement. Thats Iowa football if we are lucky. Learn to love it or find another team.Definition of average with an occasional bonor.
I expect more when you pay a coach as much as we do. If you want average than reduce the pay to average.Thats Iowa football if we are lucky. Learn to love it or find another team.
I dont get itDidn't work either. Every one of them got blocked. Our blitzes need some refining..................
Yeah, just looking at the final numbers. PSU 579 yds, Iowa 273 yds. If you look at those numbers you have to wonder why the game was close. Obviously key stops but Wow.As much as the Iowa D is known for give up a lot of yardage, I don't ever remember a game where they gave up so many yards and yet still came up with key stops when needed, right up until the last play. They must have had at least half a dozen times when they held when needed.
If only the offense would have been better than terrible. The O line was particularly disappointing.
