I'd take an 8 seed against Ole Miss below 1 Virginia. Better than Duke, UNC or Gonzaga.

Just win a game at this point but would love them as anything other then 8 or 9.
You're right but I still cling to a shred of hope. Though at times it doesn't appear that way.
A 12 would be better. That way you get the four in the second round if you find a way to beat the five in the first.
#8 Iowa vs #9 Washington in Louisville would be okay too. Unfortunately the winner gets Duke.
That may be the farthest Duke has traveled away from home in the opening weekend.

If this team has done anything in the past month, it has shown the committee that despite the fact that they pretty much have to put us in the tourney based on our overall resume and extremely weak field, today’s team has absolutely no business being there.

Yep. They modified the rule a few years ago. Now teams from the same conference can meet as early as round of 32
