He as shown what he can do against the best players that the summer league has to offer. Yes, 'shut him down'. It makes good sense.

Many of the guys he's playing with won't be on the final roster or see significant PT so it's hardly as if there would be an opportunity to develop a lot of team chemistry. That will come when camp opens before the start of the season.

Pretty much so. Just how the NBA operates. Kings at this point can see why they drafted him and that he can dominate against G League level material (outside the other draft picks). There is benefit to continue to play and improve, but must be balanced against risk of injury. He definitely whetted the appetite of Kings' fans.

If Keegan wanted to keep playing and the coaches wanted to shut him down, would they consider letting him continue?
