nope, was referring to a cyhawk matchup on the gridiron. Iowa fans would not fill kinnick during the cyhawk matchup and reference a team that knocked out the cyclones during a run for a championship in a completely different sport to talk trash.

I know it may be different because of the time that has gone between the B1G championship game and last nights game, but considering the ineptness of the clown football program and how close that game was last weekend, this particular fan with this sign just further proves that Iowa State fans are genuinely more happy when Iowa loses then they are win their team wins.

Since when does Iowa State play football in mid December? That's the point. Trying to talk football smack at a basketball game? Especially with the season Iowa just had?Adorable.

I don't think you will be seeing any basketball smack at football games from Iowa fans.

I'm relieved for the people in Ames that Iowa State squeaked out a win last night. The Cyclone fans were in a frenzy. Rushing the court let some pent up energy out for them. From the look of it, somebody in Ames would have got killed last night if they hadn't rushed the court. Instead, it's just Randy Peterson's leg. I mean, they would not have rushed the court if ISU had lost, would they? Well, I'm not too sure.

From the look of it, somebody in Ames would have got killed last night if they hadn't rushed the court. Instead, it's just Randy Peterson's leg. I mean, they would not have rushed the court if ISU had lost, would they? Well, I'm not too sure.

I had an ISU buddy text me right after the game and said, "I am embarrassed they are storming the floor." I texted back "little brother" and he said "yes".

I mean they had a lot of tension built up for last nights game. With them losing 1st round to UAB and Iowa winning and playing on the weekend they were all upset. Then with the football outcome and their lousy season, they were "all in" to win last night.

If Iowa would of won, yeah there probably would of been rioting and looting going on in Ames.

I mean they are the better team and they were supposed to win so I don't know what the big deal is about. They always state, "rivalry" which is nice, but there is more to play for than the Cy-Hawk Trophy. I would much rather have a NCAA trophy or a Conference Regular Season Title personally.

Because the latter happens much more often.
