Oklahoma makes teaching the Bible mandatory in all schools

Gotcha. Nevermind that teenage birthrates have decreased almost continuously since 1960. It's that the percentage of births to unmarried teenage mothers has increased.

It seems to match up with the decline of women getting married or waiting to get married.

I guess women just need to be married and start pumping out those kids earlier. Like the Bible says.
Don't they know true happiness is marrying a career?

So, women don't get autonomy over their bodies, then...
You can't even say what a woman is Joe.. I have news for you though, outside of gimmered's "son" men also don't have complete bodily autonomy. There's a little something called selective service, aka the draft which all (actual) men must register for. That doesn't sound like my body my choice at all, either..

Now only if they believed in it and followed it, but i don't believe they can or will with Crazy Filthy DON running the show. Oh, and president MUSK.

How many were married by those ages in those years?
When they got pregnant or when they gave birth? My mom and my aunt both were pregnant before they got married. My mom was 17 when my older brother was born. My aunt got pregnant at 19 and married at 19 but may have turned 20 right before my cousin was born. My mom was gone before my brother was born because the dude was an abusive ahole. My aunt is still married to her baby daddy. 56 years just the other day. Point being that we really don't know much from marriage statistics because many, many teens were forced into marriage due to pregnancy.

I imagine this is pretty common for that era of time and it's just not talked about. My siblings and I had to do the math one day to suddenly realize that's what happened with our parents. Fortunately for us, it all worked out but that is a tough set of circumstances to be starting a family under.

Exactly and also living together was frowned upon...my point is the recent pregnancy statistics are more telling than older ones
