Joe Castiglione is the director of athletics at Oklahoma and is the chair of this year's NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee. Oklahoma was placed in an extremely weak West bracket. Coincidence?

In the West Bracket, Oregon is the 1 seed and Oklahoma is the 2 seed. The 3 seed is Texas A&M; the 4 seed is Duke. Do you think Oklahoma fears any of these 3 teams?

To make things even better for Oklahoma, 5 seed Baylor, 6 seed Texas, and 7 seed Oregon State all lost in the first round.

After an easy victory over 15 seed Cal State Bakersfield, 2 seed Oklahoma meets 10 seed VCU. How nice for Oklahoma!

After an expected win over VCU, in the Sweet 16, Oklahoma would meet the winner of 3 seed Texas A&M or 11 seed UNI; again, not that difficult when comparing to the other 3 regions. Win that game, and you just have to beat (most likely) Oregon or Duke to advance to the Final 4.

Oklahoma could not have been gifted a better region and it can thank its AD for a job well done, like it or not.

Everybody knew MTSU was, as a 15 seed, kick MSU's ass. EVERY bracket had that upset picked.

He coulda matched up Oklahoma with MTSU there, amiright?

But no, not Dear Old Oklahoma. Yeah, you're right. The fix definitely was in. He took some white out to the bracket, switching MTSU and Bakerfield, as he walked it over to CBS.

Cheatin' Bastard.

Talked to friend about this the other day, it's also the reason Tulsa made it in instead of Monmoth, what joke, that dude had a huge influence on how everything was seeded and match up, he's a slime ball.
