OL outlook and Spring/Fall shuffling

You aren't serious? Physically ready at 260-270?
Jenkins is heavier than 270 now, around 275 - the same weight as James Daniels and Sean Welsh when they arrived. I think he will add another 5-10 by Fall but I wouldn't get too hung up on his weight - his OL skills are advanced for a prep IMO, very good footwork and drive.

Actually, I see quite a lot of experience and talent in this presumed starting lineup:

LT Wirfs So
LG Reynolds Sr
C Render Sr
RG Paulsen Jr
RT Jackson So

It's the 2 deeps that concerns me. Certainly the other Paulsen is somewhere, Kallenberger, Banwart ??

Bingo nu2u! There was a good reason why Jeff Jenkins' commitment was the first one taken. Brian and Kirk knew they had a major prospect in Jenkins and expressed their desire early.

Another OL recruit Iowa wanted to land was Jalen Mayfield who I think did not visit Iowa, committed to Minnesota after Fleck stroked his oar, decommitted and then landed the Michigan offer. The kid played in the US ARMY All-American game. Iowa got the commitment from Cody Ince. Cody seems like a very good prospect from his films. Hope Iowa can make him a valuable OL.

Seems strange that Wisconsin rarely has any OL at the US Army Bowl game.

There's no guarantee A-Jack or Wirfs won't head to the league early. Matter of fact, I bet at least one of them does. Luckily they both have at least two years to go before that decision will be considered.

Actually Jackson could declare for NFL next year as he will have finished three years of school. I dont think he will be ready but it is a possibility.

Sounds like Render is moving to center and has the inside track. Maybe Reynolds and Levi Paulsen at the guards?
