Iowa HAS "known success" since the Fry era. You need to get out of fuskerland a bit more.Oh I know you do, all fans of teams who’ve only known success in the “here and now” say that, until it no longer works. Typical Iowa fan hypocrisy.
So now you’re back to going back 30 plus years, man you are all over the place. If 1 B1G title and 2 shared titles in 30 plus years is your idea of success, I can understand why KF is paid 4 mil plus and keeps getting extended.Iowa HAS "known success" since the Fry era. Yes, the Big 10 is certainly a highly competitive, strong conference as Nebraska is finding out. I wouldn't expect you to know much about B10 history, but Iowa initially broke the Ohio State and Michigan strangle hold on the conference. Iowa has had a consistent winning record, several top 10 finishes, a perennial bowl team, all without academic scandals, cutting corners, etc. So, yes I would characterize that as a "successful" program. Have a good Thanksgiving. So now you’re back to going back 30 plus years, man you are all over the place. You either don’t read or choose to ignore all the posts where I have stated my respect for the Iowa program and my respect for how they often beat the teams at the top. You choose to focus on perceived, not actual, slights to Iowa football. It is true I despise a certain type of Iowa fan, but those who want a respectful, honest, factual discussion get one from me. I’m tired of the “the B1G is hard” argument. Nebraska struggling has nothing to do with the move to the B1G. We don’t agree on what it means to be successful and that’s ok, there is no reason to make it personal. Good evening sir, there’s so much wrong in that post it’s not worth the effort. Please explain why the UNL “blue blood” program has not won the Big Ten the last 7 years? That should be automatic after all UNL was good in the 2990’s. I’ll wait. Just hanging with UNL fans now in Omaha that are laughing at you.

Guess I missed your "respect" for Iowa in this, and other threads, where I have seen you post. I also "despise a certain type of Nebraska fan", that is, those that can't simply admit that Iowa has recently had a stronger/more well balanced team than Nebraska. I'm not saying that you are that type of fan. I'm certainly willing to acknowledge that Nebraska has a much stronger history then Iowa. You're also not the first Nebraska fan that gets tired of "the B10 is hard argument". However, just stepping back and looking at the overall strength of the conference, it appears that Nebraska football is quite a bit behind from consistently competing with O$U, PSU, Wisky, and Michigan and is fighting to stay up with programs like MSU, N'Western, and Iowa. This is what perplexes me, Iowa has had more coaching continuity, but Nebraska has averaged a higher divisional finish then Iowa since 2011, so I don’t see the stronger team argument. At any rate, hope you get to have a nice day with family and friends, as Americans we have a lot to be thankful for.Guess I missed your "respect" for Iowa in this, and other threads, where I have seen you post. I'm basing my "stronger team" comment on head-to-head match-ups between Iowa and Nebraska, rather than divisional finishes. This is what perplexes me, Iowa has had more coaching continuity, but Nebraska has averaged a higher divisional finish then Iowa since 2011, so I don’t see the stronger team argument. Sounds good, in that case they are even since 2011 and after that I go to divisional finish. Enjoy the game tomorrow, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised or maybe not if you’re one of the Iowa fans that is confident in an Iowa win.I'm basing my "stronger team" comment on head-to-head match-ups between Iowa and Nebraska, rather than divisional finishes.
Not sure what to think about tomorrow's game. I could actually see a big win by EITHER team. I would feel better about Iowa's chances if if was going to be worse weather, which would hurt Nebby's passing game more. I'm still looking at 3 out of last the 4 games went Iowa's way, which is a better indicator of current program strengths rather than going back to 2011.Sounds good, in that case they are even since 2011 and after that I go to divisional finish. I respect your opinion, but surely you can see how that is convenient to say in 2017 after 2 wins in a row by Iowa, I doubt an Iowa fan would’ve been quick to tout recent history in 2012 when it was 2-0 Nebraska since joining the B1G and 4 -0 Nebraska over KF. I would respect the recent history line more from Iowa fan if it just pertained to the last season and that if Iowa lost the narrative stayed the same. Not sure what to think about tomorrow's game. Can we score 10?bad feeling on this. huskers come out on fire. hawkeyes have lost all direction and purpose.
huskers 31
hawkeyes 10
hope I am wrong
2 ints of Turnover Tanner. Pick 6 by Jackson, and another pick inside Nebraska's 20 that leads to a 3 and out followed by a fg.Can we score 10?
Insert team with losing record and going into final game the media will say, “this is their bowl game.”

Iowa 45
Nebraska 28
Typical Iowa fan gets to continue the whole recent history, 3 straight, 4 out of 5 woulda, coulda, shoulda been 5/5 and all the while KF will still have a losing record against Nebraska.
I agree, this is the first year in quite awhile that the huskers appear to suck more than the hawks, including 2015.I suspect you are wrong. Huskers suck even more than usual this season.
The whole recent history argument has been beat like a dead horse. You can have your all too convenient recent history. The players in tomorrow's game only know the past 5 years or less. They weren't playing during nebby's glory years. Many were still in diapers and many weren't even born when KF took over..
The whole recent history argument has been beat like a dead horse. You can have your all too convenient recent history.
You are literally too dumb to insult. The players only know the recent history. BTW- you are firing Riley because of nebby's recent history. The last 3 years to be exact.
The dead horse is literally nebby's glory days. That horse died a long time ago.
You are literally too dumb to insult.
Not name calling, but I’ve said enough, everyone gets it, but you. Enjoy your Thanksgiving evening.name calling - the first resort of a nebby fan.
lTime to ruin lil Bros Super Bowl!
Already did it to ISU.
Not name calling, but I’ve said enough, everyone gets it, but you. Enjoy your Thanksgiving evening.
There’s a post, probably more than one, on here where I’m called a DBag and a DB, that is name calling. Questioning someone’s intelligence is not. Are you a millennial?Looks like name calling to me.
You said: "You are literally too dumb to insult"
BTW... I DO get it. Clearly you don't.
Happy turkey day. Here's hoping for an injury free game tomorrow and a hawkeye victory.
lIowa has won 3 out of the last 4 vs. Nebby (that's a fact), and about to make it 4 out of 5. I'm much more concerned about RECENT history vs opponents. 40 - 10 in Iowa's favor vs. Nebby in the most RECENT game...that's another fact for you.
I understand your point Nebraska holds all time series lead and all just like I understand Iowa has won the last couple , its no different than Wisconsin fans selectively forgetting Iowa beat them like 20 years in a row and they only got good by poaching Iowa's coaching . Which side of the coin is shiny syndromeThere’s a post, probably more than one, on here where I’m called a DBag and a DB, that is name calling. Questioning someone’s intelligence is not. Both teams.Whose super bowl is it on Friday? I'm confused...
You can have your glory days. The whole recent history argument has been beat like a dead horse. You can have your all too convenient recent history.
Relevance is playing in the NC game, you can argue you it all you want. I don’t expect Iowa fan to understand. Do you really take offense to the statement “Iowa is trying to reach the top”? Way too sensitive if you do.
Both teams.
Iowa Trending Up? You can’t be serious after the last two debacles.
