Wadley bursts through the hole and Blythe doesn't even get to his block.

Once we get the passing game going a little bit I would love to see that play again

Well, it's not that crazy that we starting the one-time #4 RB on the depth chart. About par for the course I'd say.

After that play and then again after taking the 14-3 lead, I was thinking this was going to be a romp.

Running ability has never been an issue with Wadley. It's been not coughing the ball up and pass protection.

I, on the other hand, was DVRing the game while out with the family for an event for our daughter. There were TV's in the restaurant we were at; despite living in Madison (not Iowa) I was still being careful to not watch the Badger game so I didn't see scores. Then, of course, on the way out of the restaurant I catch a glimpse of a highlight of an Indiana TD during the halftime report.

So at 14-3, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. The worst part was that when it finally did, it was not the TD I had seen.

I don't think of ball security at all when he carries anymore, and he blocks well also.

Kid is a stud and man those feet are quick.

On that play Wadley reminded me a little bit of Melvin Gordon. That seemed like his signature play, running rather vertically to the secondary and then a quick little wiggle to the ouside and see ya!

I know, the comparison is high praise indeed for a Badger.

I still want to see what Wadley can do against a really good defense. He will get his chance but I'm waiting until then to project how his career goes. If he goes for a big run and we'll over 100 yards against Ohio St., he could have a season that rivals Greene. Way too early though.
