OSU @ ISU

I knew ISU fans boo a lot, but did they seriously just boo because OSU used a timeout on an important 4th down

And per usual, ISU fans crying conspiracy and blaming refs for loss.

They are the George Costanza of college football. This whole universe is out to get them.

I agree with them this time.
I think they got screwed a couple times.

38-14 , 66 yards total offense.... yes he is, yes he is good!!!!!!!!! lolololololololol dumbass
44-41 just sayin.......Ok St has over 100 yds in penalties and crying about the refs? Hell, they kept you in the game.

Ok we will, as soon as you clean up all the Wisconsin cheese that got shoved up your asses!!!!!!!!!!!! lolololololololol #karma'saBitch
Fully triggered :) I don't give a shit bud. Didn't even watch Iowa today. Were 2 years away my friend. I'm not delusional like the CF crowd. I had my first beer long ago. I can sit back and recall all those meaningful November games we've played over the last 16 years with a smile on my face. It's a similar situation to my St Louis Cardinals in that by the time the Cubs got good I was burnt out, we'd been winning for so long it got boring. Shit I ran out of fingers to put rings on years ago. I kept looking for them in the rear view mirror but didn't see them so I put er on cruise and burned a phatty. Every time I hear Gary Dolphin or Jack Buck's voice I bust another nut.

No... you were happy with the ISU loss, then asked us to suck ure balls b4 u played ure game ... then got your asss handed to you with 66 yards of total offense .. am I wrong any anything I said ?? Karma really is a birch isn’t it u little rainbow

Umm, wouldn’t it be safe to say Jackson’s 2 pick 6’s kept u in ure game early ?? Again., 66 total yards - care to explain that yet ?? And oh yeah, 2002 , 36-31 just sayin ... but you went on to have a better season - I guess that doesn’t count & too easy to forget with ure hillbilly reasoning?? fag**t
I am a little late with this but take your dates off the keyboard and take them to bed, Sat nite and you were in a Jerry'[s kids fight, nice life.

If you're talking about the plays in the end zone, no they weren't. The ISU WRs initiated contact on the plays they're bitching about. Cowboys were penalized 105 yards to ISU's 40 and they're crying about the refs.

ISU now on 3rd string QB
ISU is blessed to have had 3 serviceable QBs. I watched the game and Noland came in a looked like Nate Stanley with better touch on the ball. The announcers kept referring to him as a "gunslinger" which kind of reminded me of CJB before CJB was neutered by the coaching staff.

Tommy Tuberville referred to the Clones as the Hawkeyes. Not first time that has happened. After all, Iowa is the Hawkeye State.

Disappointing loss for sure. My only issue with the officiating is this: if they are going to calll defensive holding on ISU on both 2 pt conversions, then call it on the OSU defender on the next to last play vs Lazard. Just be consistent. Officials did not cost ISU the game. Plenty of opportunities to win. No problem on the INT call on last play. ISU is.6-4. Really good chance to be 8-4. No realistic Cyclone fan should be complaining too loudly. Great game. Tough one to lose. Impressed with Noland. In spite of giving up 49 points, ISU defense did okay. Punter didnt do them any favors in 1st half. Gave OSU a short field a couple of times.

He's a damned good punter who had a damned poor day. Five poor punts, including a 13-yard shank and a semi-shank, both of which set up OSU touchdowns.

Refs have been more inconsistent on pass interference than usual all this season. We've benefitted on some occasions, been scrod on others. Yesterday was one of the latter. You should have seen the uncalled holding against Peavy on OSU's winning score. If the guy doesn't grab Peavy, they probably don't score on that play.

It's really a kick in the gut to lose a game that way. It's a lot easier to live with, say, the Iowa loss, where there was nothing controversial, just a combination of a great play by an opponent and mistakes by ISU. If the last play yesterday had been a clean pick, it would have been less frustrating.

Agreed on Downing. Great punter whose had a great year and career. He did a great job vs TCU to not allow a punt return. He just had a bad day vs Okie State. It happens.
