There's a video playing on here ad nauseam in which the "expert" says, "If you want to win the Heisman, don't go to Boise State." Well, that's a great take.

Jeanty ALMOST won the Heisman @ Boise State! He finished a close second NOT because he played for Boise State, but because Travis Hunter had a better year playing on BOTH sides of the ball. Hell, Ted Williams hit .406 (still a record) for Boston in 1941 but did NOT win MVP. Joe DiMaggio, who hit in a still record 56 consecutive games, won it instead. So is the message, if you wanna be the MVP, don't play for Boston? LOL

I just want to make sure I am following. Joe Dimaggio set a record in 1941 that has yet to be broken (still a record). They won the World Series, I wonder which of those two players had more press, the World Series winning, record setting hit streak, or the guy hitting .406? It seems like these awards might have a little to do with the press you receive.
