I still like Aranda, he did very well at Wisconsin
No disagreement, but every DC does well at Wisconsin. Remember a DC from LSU that ended up at Nebraska? I think his name was Bo.
I still like Aranda, he did very well at Wisconsin
I think everyone here is realizing he just hasn't won anywhere he has coached, we tried to hire the polar opposite of Bo, not the best coach we could have hired
The delusional ones*Uh no, anybody and everybody KNEW he hadn't won anywhere he has coached.
I think you mean the Nebraska fans are "just now" realizing it.
Lute is stone cold.Unfortunately, the stench from the stockyards in
Omaha still remains even after their closure.
Bottom Line: Lincoln, Nebraska still can get a
strong wind gusting south from Omaha.
Be real, they have 5 National Championships.
Because you put our grandfathers can't remember them?So does Iowa...in football!
But we dont mention them at all...

Don't forget Army's.Because you put our grandfathers can't remember them?So does Iowa...in football!

They are about as relevent today as Minnesota's, U of Chicago's, and Princeton's...?
Minnesota's was a nice touch.They are about as relevent today as Minnesota's, U of Chicago's, and Princeton's...?
I'm glad Nebraska will never win a game ever again (fairly). The only thing good to come out of Nebraska is the hot young engineer who just got hired at the place I used to work. And she graduated from Iowa.Funny thing is, during the Pelini years Eichorst says it was his policy not to comment on football during the season. Well we saw what happened almost immediately after losing to Northern Illinois.
Nebraska fans think they have the best everything...
-Fans
-Stadium
-Facility
-Tradition
You try to tell them otherwise, it's not like that anymore, etc... They immediately run you and your program into the ground and remind you about their five national titles.
So, Northern Illinois is an "upper echelon" team? Nebby is just very fortunate that they played Rutgers today, who didn't know how to close it out. It's not that Nebraska fans wouldn't be satisfied with an 8- or 9-win season. It's the fact that the team is routinely taken to the woodshed by the upper echelon teams.
Nebraska fans just want a team that is consistently competitive. Do that, and wins and the chance at championships will follow.
To say that Stoops is "doubtful" is the biggest understatement of the yearYea a lot of people are calling for Les, but he was definately biased because his son is a redshirt freshman FB on the team haha. I think having to play Bama every year really hurt him overall, but his biggest knocks were not having a qb/developing him.
Some other names I have possibly heard are Frost (obviously), Stoops (doubtful), Chip Kelly (lol), and Dava Aranda (which I like)
We have some fans out there that are clueless! To say that Stoops is "doubtful" is the biggest understatement of the year
Cool, but not in Lincoln ever again. It's not that Nebraska fans wouldn't be satisfied with an 8- or 9-win season. It's the fact that the team is routinely taken to the woodshed by the upper echelon teams.
