I do not think Harris is doing himself any favors for the draft if he is not hurt and quit on the team. He is not a high draft pick from what I have seen, and character does play a role. So, if he is not a sure thing for an NFL team, I could see teams passing on him.

For a player to quit mid season, I would like to see some of the following. These may already exist. All may be used negatively in recruiting, so who knows.

Thank f-ing God we had players like Jack Campbell and Jay Higgins then right? They kept laying the hammer game after game because there was game to play. They love Kirk.
There was a 3rd and 8 play at the end of the game last week. The receiver made the catch but was still probably 5 yards shy. Instead of making the hit and forcing the receiver out of bounds short of the sticks, Harris pulled up and let him backpeddle for a first down to essentially end the game. Had to look terrible on film afterwards. After the play he just kind of stood there with a bewildered look and hands on hips. I thought the whole sequence was odd at the time. I wonder now if it was a harbinger of things to come with him.
Jemari was the king of thinking if he hit the guy and did not wrap his arms the ball carrier would just fall down. Great player though.

If this is true, college football needs to reign in this crap and get it solved with contracts. People opting out of regular season games should be reason to fine them. If we are paying these players, why are they not getting fined or penalized in any way? They have every advantage right now. The schools need to get some power back.

I thought I just saw a post-game clip of Harris singing Kirks praises after a recent game. Quite the change of attitude in a couple of weeks. At CB, I'd think risk of injury is pretty low compared to other positions.......

We won’t have anything near 8-10 drafted. Most will be free agents. I think think this season showed some of those guys aren’t as good as we thought.
LOL, Harris has been with the team since 2019, and see his stock as high as it has ever been. Having players in the league is a huge win for the hawks and this years draft class could add a solid number to what is already there.
Have college players start paying their own tuition with the money they make from NIL. That would save some expenses for the schools.
