Not trying to stir the pot but he just tweeted, 'He may just go back on his decision and that will be fine with me'.. Have no idea what that means

Found this.

c. One-Year Absence. This NLI shall be declared null and void if I have not attended any institution (two-year or four-year) for at least one academic year, provided my request for athletics financial aid for a subsequent fall term is denied by the signing institution.

Who knows? But history has shown us many OTC kids never make it back to the original school. This is how we got Marion from UNI. He got to know Terry.

This doesn't surprise me and quite frankly I always thought Freddy to Minny was an odd fit. He still could be a gopher but it never seemed right to me if that makes sense. I could see Mizzou, ASU or Illinois or something like that.

I can't be the only one who has thought Freddy as a gopher was just a bit off?

You aren't the only one that was surprised it was Minne.

I still think he goes there this fall, however the one odd thing about Minnesota was what he said about reasons to go there...

If I remember correctly it was more about Minneapolis being the city with the most Fortune 500 companies and being able to start a great career after wrestling (which I admire! - forward thinking). Once again I freely admit I'm just poking the bear but IF he doesn't go to MN that's what my first thought is/was.

I remember remembering that now.

And if that's really the case then Stanford and Northwestern is where he should go I'd he can get in. Or Cornell or havard. Pretty sure there are fortune 500 in San Francisco and Chicago or boston

I'm officially off the Stroker-bashing bandwagon. I didn't think he was a perfect fit for Iowa, I thought Kemerer was a better choice, I thought Turk was insurance, and I was mystified by the whole "tweet-a-picture-of-a-license-plate-and-say-you-were-in-a-car-crash-as-an-excuse-for-not-winning-fargo" incident. But when he signed at Minnesota I softened a bit on my opinion of him. I wouldn't wish that on anybody--going to Minny is like getting married to someone you don't love and then having to pretend that you do. "Oh, um, it's the home of Fortune 500 companies." Yeah, whatever. It's Minny. Wrestling-wise, Stroker has continued to progress, not stagnate, and had an excellent performance at Fargo, which impressed me and made up for the license plate incident. So...I'm pro-Stroker now and I wish him the best.

I'm a big fan of Minneapolis. It's actually a great city with quite a bit to do compared to other cities of comparable size. It can't compete with the gaslamp in San Diego, but it holds its own against most

I didn't dislike him, but he was a gopher. Then he tweeted that his Fargo championship was for the state of Iowa, and now I'll be a fan wherever he goes.

I love downtown Minneapolis as I am there about once a month. The bad news is that winter lasts about 8 months.
