Tried to turn him, got in a bad spot. Hung on too long. Got reversed to his back tight and got stuck. Really didn't look too bad. Wiscy kid was good. Relied too much on upper body stuff and risky throws. Endurance looked OK. Not as quick as the Wisconsin kid.

So just got sloppy it sounds like. Thus the reason he is here, to get that worked out. Still not real pleased with the result but not the end of the world.

This is exactly why to do a tourney like this. Guys in the room are all different weights. 141 has quicker kids. have to wrestle them different. I have to believe if he can make the adjustment, he can make noise at 141. But, he needs as many matches as possible.

You don't go for so long without competing live while rehabbing from injury and just come back and dominate. Yes, it's a disappointing showing, but if anyone expected Brody to come back and be in mid-season form, they were kidding themselves. There's a lot of rust to knock off, a lot of conditioning to rebuild, and confidence to be regained. I still have hope.
