Oh I agree. I am just making fun of those that think since Fran is rich and these are his kids that they should walk on so scholarships can be given to others.

"Deserve?" Yes. They deserve a scholarship.

Best interest of the coaches program? No. Putting then on scholarship isn't likely in the programs best interest if that ride can be used for another contributor.

What was KF thinking putting his deserving kids on scholarship!!!! What was Greg McDeromott thinking putting Dougie buckets on scholarship for all those years except his final season???

Why are all of these high level coaches making this mistake???

Agree and am so sick of these so-called fans who demand Fran's kids walk-on. Would you be happy if they took scholarships to play for someone else? Be thankful they want to be Hawks! If they are worthy of a scholarship give them one. Stop being a bunch of carpet-baggers.

There used to be, not any more. Still doesn't matter though, if the kid is deserving of a scholarship he should have one (provided he has been offered one) UNLESS the coach and family want to do something differently.

Connor and it appears Patrick are very very worthy.

I'm a child for saying kids who have been offered a scholarship deserve their scholarship and that I don't think our AD should do a dirty under the table deal to essentially compensate Fran for having his kids walk on instead of taking a scholarship (which they have earned). Yeah, I'm the child.

You haven't even attempted to think through what people are saying.

The reasons you have a problem with the idea have been explained to not be valid or on point and yet you can't even acknowledge the concepts being put forth.

You continue to ignore the specifics of both the situation and what people are proposing and instead you resort to examples that are obviously totally different situations.
