Have you ever thought that maybe not everyone needs to hear your opinion all the time? Sometimes the appropriate thing to do is zip it and keep it to yourself. Good for Patrick, I commend him. This dude's anxiety is obviously legit and 100% understandable ... and it's well-known that young cancer survivors will tend to have greater incidents of anxiety. So, mega kudos to PM for highlighting this.
That said, and only marginally on topic ... I've come across way to many cupcakes among the younger generations, in the last few years, who use "anxiety" as a crutch. It's despicable. Yes, paying bills, holding down a job, showing up every day on time, and maintaining a productive and responsible place in society comes with a measure of stress/anxiety.
But when today's cupcakes pull the "anxiety" card, because they can't cope or have some stress induced diarrhea, and absolve themselves of any responsibility ... ? It's hard not to see them as freeloaders who are minimizing the challenges that land on folks with true anxiety issues, like PM above.
Also, get off my lawn.

You're an annoying mother****er.Have you ever thought you should perhaps follow your own advice?
who was he was supposed to take these rebounds from?Good for you young man. We all hope you are better and progressing and that you will do great things on and off the basketball court. All that being said, would it be too much to ask for a little more rebounding on the basketball court?

We're headed toward plenty of challenges, they're going to learn. Can of worms here. You know you're just going to get a bunch of angry responses but I agree.
Aside from the odd social cache of having some kind of "thing" (terretts is in now apparently) theres an interesting side effect of living in a postmodern society with no real challenges, at least compared to any other time in human history.
Living difficulty free and mostly purpose free lives while fake socializing online is apparently terrible for mental health.
No turning back now though.
LOL at spelling it terretts” and then acting like you’re in any way qualified to discuss what difficulties people do or don’t face. Can of worms here. You know you're just going to get a bunch of angry responses but I agree.

Yeah but that won't happen. We're headed toward plenty of challenges, they're going to learn.
You, we, can turn it back by turning it off, no?
His point wasn't that he had something of substance to say, it was that you don't.Lol at acting like spelling is in any possible way meaningful.
Is pretending to have turrets because you saw it on ticktok a real difficulty?
When you criticize spelling it says you have nothing of substance to say.
Sure, and I expect that opinion from roughly half of people. His point wasn't that he had something of substance to say, it was that you don't.
The competitionwho was he was supposed to take these rebounds from?

Now you're 0 for 2. Bungling spelling can completely change the meaning of what you are saying when it's in written form and completely undermines your credibility on a subject, both of which are pretty meaningful I'd say. Just better to say oops than pretend that not knowing how to spell something doesn't make you look like a dumb ass to the non dumb ass segment of the population. Especially with google so readily available.Lol at acting like spelling is in any possible way meaningful.

Just give him some time. He’ll get there. He may need to go through a few different iterations before landing on it.
Oh. I don't know. THE OTHER TEAM.. Geez. Thanks for the softball.who was he was supposed to take these rebounds from?
Sure it can but in this case it was clearly understood by his response.. Trying to argue otherwise is simply a lie. If you have to lie to try and win an argument thats a weak position. Now you're 0 for 2. FYI it's tourette syndrome
I have general anxiety disorder and take medication. Couldn't make it if i didnt do something about it.

First attempt was just ignorance of the spelling and the second version was auto correct.
Of course I or anyone else could spend 10 seconds and look it up on Google, thats the whole point. Its so irrelevant that it wasn't worth 10 seconds.
Thats why the original attempt to insult me was such a brain dead critique.
I wasn't claiming to know anything about the disorder. You don't need to know anything about it to state the obvious.
The obvious is that it doesn't come from fvcking ticktock.
You can pretend to not grasp the point. But again...you're lying.
No serious person would compare the difficulties of this modern version of American life to the difficulties faced through out the rest of human existence.A person posting about “no real challenges,”
“living difficulty free” and “mostly purpose free lives” in a thread about mental health—during Mental Health Awareness Month—is in no position to call anyone else’s opinion brain dead.
Based on the garbage you’ve been posting, brain dead would be an uptick for you.
In all seriousness, I encourage you to get some help for your own mental health. This post demonstrates a complete disconnect with reality. I’m not trying to put you down at all. Please get help.No serious person would compare the difficulties of this modern version of American life to the difficulties faced through out the rest of human existence.
I honestly don't know why this upsets you enough to feel like you need to lash out but its just basic common sense.
Lack of real tasks to focus on and overcome, combined with social media algorithms that likely intentionally promote unhealthy examples obviously leads to increase in mental health problems. You don't have to know how to spell anything to see whats obviously going on.
Kids developing tics, multiple personalities and gender dysphoria (spell checked that one just for you)is not real. Do you know how I know? Because I wasn't born yesterday.

I am an awfully good shot but wouldn't shoot a person. Definitely a squirrel. They're delicious with shake and bake.High correlation between mass shooters and ssri's.
I'm not going to completely defend RnR but I think you're proving his point when you tell him he needs help. Even he can't have an opinion without it being labeled a mental health issue.
