It is not as entertaining as you would hope. PD2 is more gifted in the English language than PD3, & their arguements lose entertainment value when I don't need a cipher to read them.
I can't imagine the world of trouble he will get into in Iowa City.

EDIT: And I see now that an attempted start to a second (replacement) thread was also taken down. Mods would seem to want no more riling-up of PDII for a while.
I gotta disagree here on entertainment value...easily a legendary thread. At one point PD2 was bragging about the size of his son's junk in the revenge porn video he posted of the girl he's engaged to...that's a level of dysfunction you just don't see everyday.

I would assume that if iowa did open the door for downey there would be a long list of strict conditions including a no social media agreement. Its my thought that the family will not like the conditions and move on considering other options. Im not in favor of the addition but am also not the one making decisions in this matter. My opinion is there is more to lose than be gained in a year where we are far from favored to win a team title.

Honestly this is where I'm at as well. I'd love to see the kid go in the B1G and make it the whole season to see how he does, I just don't want the risk of it being in our room.
I'd like to see him go to another school as well and get his (insert # here) chance. I'd rather watch it all play out from afar and don't want him around the other guys.
I mean lets be honest, chances are the kid messes up again (I hope not for his sake). What happens when he screws up this time? How messy will it be as he's shown the door?
One of the reasons I think he hasn't already "seen the light" is because he has always found a new place to wrestle.
It's probably all for nothing b/c I really don't think he'll do what he needs to do to see the mat.

I think he is 25 years old - so it is really clear to me that he does not love the sport as much as helicopter dad does. He is not a kid!!! Many "kids" his age have been to and from Ass****istan or some other BFE place. Stop giving him the kid pass. In my mind he may have potential - but I bet he does not love the sport.
No. His results speak for themselves. Including wrestling a half season up a weight and finishing 5th in the country.
