Pearl St in Denver for Iowa-ISU game.

Best place I've found to watch the Hawks in Denver is the Sportsbook Bar & Grill ( DTC ).

Location in DTC automatically removes this spot from consideration for best place to watch the hawks in the Denver area. Perhaps it's just me getting old, but considering all games are televised my desire to go to a bar to watch the game has completely vanished, much rather host friends and watch at home with beers and food that aren't marked up in price. However, if the desire to go out is there, plenty of options around town besides sports column. Pearl St as mentioned above along with sports alley and blackbird both in the wash park area.

I was there, and it was awesome. With the exception of the 100 leaching Iowa State fans who also attended. It's really pathetic that they show up to an Iowa bar for the game. Essentially admitting that they exist solely to rival Iowa.

Then we lost to NDSU and the season was pointless.

I have pictures from the event, but no idea how to get them on here. Huge TV (like 40x30 feet) outside on a closed off block with about 800-1,000 people.

Don't blame you one bit only I cut the cord years ago so that's the only way to watch my Hawks.

That's a lot of people.

Get play station VUE, $35 per month gets you all the ESPN's, BIG ten network, Fox sports 1 & 2. 50 total channels. Working great for me so far.

I'm using them too now exclusively. Cedar Rapids doesn't get locals though. My Free Trial thought I was in Chicago though so I'm getting their locals plus Core for $45.

Their DVR is TERRIBLE though. I can't DVR sports because all of the titles are called "College Football" or "NFL". The DVR doesn't give me the ability to just select the one I want, it's either all or nothing but that means EVERY college football game during the day gets recorded. They really need to figure that out.

If you don't mind fighting traffic in downtown Denver the Sports Column is right between 19th and 20th on Blake street, 5 minutes from Coors Cield. Easily best place in Denver to watch the Hawks considering the Sports Column is owned by the same people as the one in Iowa City. Go Hawks.

Too dark and musky for me.

The Sports Column is a blast....especially now that they remodeled the upstairs deck. The one in Iowa City is no longer owned by the big fella that owns the one in Denver.

The Pub on Pearl is my second choice.

I was at the Sportsbook for the ISU game. Other than the fruit flies, it was okay. I was disappointed with their beer selection, but their food menu is pretty good for a sports bar. They did have tenderloins, but they looked too thick and the breading was wrong. It looked like they used four instead of breadcrumbs or cracker crumbs.
It was a good crowd, but the bar could have done more to enhance the experience. It would have been nice if they played the fight song after touchdowns. They could have started the I-O-W-A chant through the sections of the bar, or something. In a room full of Hawkeye fans, the experience felt isolated.
I'm not in Colorado anymore, but even if I was, I doubt I'd go back to Sportsbook. At least I wouldn't until I'd been to a few other places.
