Talk about a bad ref…… This guy takes the cake.
JDJ had his guy headed toward his back while the ref called out a five count stalling against him. No backs given and a stall warning led to a point thew next stall call.
The next match the ref started the bout with PSU down and blew the whistle to start action before Jordan really even had a hand on his opponents elbow.

I am in no way a wrestling expert but do really enjoy watching the Hawkeyes so am watching this match since it is the 2 biggest conference rivals this year. To my novice eye it appears this official favors PSU. Can someone explain why I am wrong?
PSU wrestling fans sound like ISU basketball fans.

The only thing hard to watch about the PSU fans is they seem to give out all their front row seats to Herbert from Family Guy.

They need to outlaw that move that Nikal did where the bottom guy is standing and the top guy leaves his feet and drops to the mat pulling backwards. Very dangerous to blow a knee with a horse collar type effect, I have been seeing more and more of it. A guy Gilman was wrestling tried it a couple times. Rios maybe.

How come the ref was not counting the back points and the Nikal riding the leg as martin escaping ..

This ref does suck .... 1 sided on the stall calls and the back point counts.
that is why 133 DiJ was not getting back points on the edge of the mat - ref was too busy counting for the stalling ....
How nickal received zero stall calls there is beyond me. I hope Meyer beats him 2-0 twice this year.
McC does the same stall sit on the ankle. I don't get why refs don't call this stalling on top.
