My kids have been playing all weekend. My son walked 10km this weekend so I'm good with it. Funny thing is my wife started playing too. She claims it so she can do things with the boy, but he wasn't up at 11:30 last night when she was out with the dog and her phone running around the neighborhood.
She probably stopped playing when your kid went to bed, but went to bang the neighbor.

As with pretty much everything in our short attention-span society and lives, this too will soon pass. Haven't checked it out ... But as we'll see, there will be (and already are) deadbeats out there who will take advantage of people playing the game.

2. Set their nickname to an expiration date
3. Delete them on the date to cull out friends for being inactive
4. Repeat
