Time for a new regime for iowa football or stick with KF?

The only way that could happen is with overwhelming pressure from money boosters...and that's not gonna happen. You can't fire KF. Perhaps they can convince him to retire, but they can't fire him.
Make no mistake, I am ready to turn the page. Not simply because the Hawks can't beat top teams (although they do pretty well against all the rest), but he's going to retire soon anyway - might as well get on with it. The program can use some fresh air.
So, I'm ready for someone new. Do I think someone new will do better than KF. Not really.
WTF, are you from Nebraska? Can’t fire without full-throated support of the big donors. However, Kirk likes to discuss wins, therefore the AD should silently float a supporter campaign that explicitly states 9 wins is the minimum, period.
Big supporters may understand, and the feeling of inadequacy may help their curiosity of what they’re getting for their support. For the HC, it may light a fire to discuss and plan internally how to solve the talent acquisition and development problem, and fast. Results oriented, with specificity and urgency. Because we’ve all seen the schedule for the next two years.
What?!? Deserves a statue for winning two shared Big Ten Championships almost a quarter century ago? There has never been at coach at Iowa that has brought more nepotism, embarrassment and ridicule to the University than Ferentz. And now, he doesn't even have the decency to know when the F to bow out gracefully. He has to keep milking the Iowa football cash cow. He doesn't even have the capacity to feel some shame and humility when he puts out a crappy product for all the millions he makes. The only way he could be forced out is if the offer him under the table money to leave before his contract ends. Has to be paid out by boosters. And I don't see this as a reality. I don't believe in his game strategies, but you cannot argue with his winning percentages. He's a great beloved leader of the Iowa Football program.
Build him his statue, he deserves it. Let him retire on his own terms, he deserves it.
I disagree Kirk “deserves” to retire “on his own terms”.The only way he could be forced out is if the offer him under the table money to leave before his contract ends. Has to be paid out by boosters. And I don't see this as a reality. I don't believe in his game strategies, but you cannot argue with his winning percentages.
