Go to work the next day and be thankful that a Trump victory will likely lead to overwhelming conservative losses for the next several elections hopefully.

Give up what? What are you going to do?

I hate trump so much I'm gonna pick a fight in his name in a thread with his name in the title on the topic of being re-elected. I'm not voting for him though. Lololololololol.

Also, thanks to oh pee for starting this. Was able to ID a couple more ignores. No need to reply. You were one of them.

Consider it gallows humor.

I really don’t want to deal with another Trump presidency. I don’t believe we will. But if it happens, it happens.

We will survive.
Yes but will American democracy? If he wins I don’t think another presidential vote will ever really count again. Just my belief. I hope y’all are right but you know it’s going to be a dumpster fire.

Typical democrat move - already calling for impeachment based on no actions. And Trump is the dictator huh…
Do realize the hypocrisy in this? The cons just impeached Mayorkas over political disagreements and despite a previous failed vote.

An interesting question would be how is my life better/worse under Trump and or Biden. If you never once watched a State of the Union address, press conference, tweet, news broadcast, etc. But instead, just got up every day and lived your life, how much would who is sitting in the Oval Office actually impact your day-to-day?

During early parts of Covid? It mattered a great deal. That's when Trump lost whatever little chance I had at voting for him in 2020. His antics in April 2020 were the exact wrong thing our country needed.

I'll do the same thing I've done the day after every election since I was an adult...get up and go to work the next day
Make coffee in the morning, get up and do what I do.
The same thing that would happen if drump loses.

It's like when Trump got impeached. Both sides are playing a political game. They aren't impeaching based off facts, high crime or likelihood of a conviction. They are impeaching behavior. The impeachment highlights the behavior and is something to run on or against.
Dems played it well for 2020 now Reps are trying their hand

What about DNA testing and original certified birth certificates , too?
I’d say showing your valid drivers license or ID with current address should suffice to vote. Kinda like when you buy alcohol or go through security at a federal building or board a plane. You know, standard procedures everyone goes through in their everyday life by showing their ID to do certain things that require an ID.

Definitely won't like it but will accept the results of the election regardless. All of which begs the question how can Trump, as a convicted felon, even govern? Convicted felons aren't allowed on the White House grounds let alone handling classified documents, or heaven forbid, nuke codes.

Yeah…. But which amendment to the Constitution/Bill of Rights requires that?

Early voted yesterday since I will be outta town on Tuesday. This was the first year of our new photo ID law. The place was steady busy. Here’s hoping for a massive turnout of voters!

Do we rely on the Constitution for every law we obey? I went into the bank last week to get something. I had to show my DL so they’d know it was me. I appreciate them confirming that for my protection.

I’ve never seen a stop sign that dated back to 1776. But I obey them.
The Founders granted the states the right to conduct elections. Do you have a problem with that?

I worry that we have two idiots to choose from. If he wins (polls aren’t good for Biden at the moment) the fact that Trump’s going to have trouble getting competent and decent people to work for him bothers me a lot.

Why. He did it for 4 years already...and he’s told us he is gonna raid the Constitution again...and stack the Court system to guarantee his longevity of rule. America is so phuquin’ dumb, they are fine with it. Mom, we are on the verge of losing the country we grew up with if Trump wind and MAGAts get control of the Congress. I honestly believe this is all possible with a Trump win in November. Trump does not give one shit about me..or most Americans.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Trump used the term "shit hole" to describe a few countries and the left went WILD. I expect an apology from you for calling a few states in the US the same thing.

I ignored you already, so there is that. That's the best I can do

Here’s a Republican moving away from the importance of the Constitution everyone. THIS is the damage Trump has done. Republicans would NEVER post this a decade ago.
