I think he is exactly right on this. Next year will be his last. I say this because 1. Beth is not going to fire a guy that made the NCAA last 4 years. 2. Where would he go if he just left? 3. His son will be a senior in high school next year so this more than anything keeps him here one more year. By the way, everyone wants change, fine but be careful what you wish for! Nebraska football won 9 games Pelini last year. They didnt like his temper so they axed him and havent been the same since!

Not every program runs like Nebraska football, thank goodness. Change can be good. Iowa is known for keeping coaches for too long, see Iowa football. Fran will walk away one day, not sure when. His style is entertaining if only he could get the next level of athlete to make it work better.
